Recap: I looked up to see Elliot's pistol block the cane from hitting me, they both stared at each other for the longest time.

"That's enough Blood." Elliot growled in a voice that made me even scared of him a little. I laid there frozen and still in pain from the first hit to the head. As I looked up I noticed Blood relax a little and pull his cane back down to his side, Elliot lowered his pistol as well. Blood didn't turn around again, though I would expect to see a grin on his face.

"Let's get you home" Elliot said as he placed the golden trimmed pistol back in his holster and leaned down to help me up, though I was expecting a hand he gently picked me up and carried me out of the garden bridal style. My head laid on his chest and he knew I didn't feel like talking though he knew what needed to be said.

"Blood is a dangerous man Sky, with a temper of a demon. He's quick to pull his weapon even on and outsider, I bet quicker for you though because I doubt he sees worth in you for he has Alice already." Elliot exclaimed calmly as we left the Mansion and started for the Castle. "I was surprised though, you took a hit pretty well, I'll make sure you get taken care of. Ace, he annoys me yes but I see he will care for you well" Elliot looked away from my view and I didn't know why but I noticed his face was a little red when he looked back over.

"I can walk" I said calmly as I didn't want him to carry me all the way, I don't want to be a burden of any sort.

"You sure" Elliot questioned as he placed me on my feet again, still leaving his hand on my shoulder to make sure I didn't fall.

"I'm fine" I smiled bright at him hoping he would understand I'm not broken just bruised a little.

"Oh alright" he said with a smile as well.

As we turned to the road to Heart Castle Ace had popped out from the shrubs further up the path. Noticing us walking towards him he smiled and rubbed the back of his neck like always does when he gets lost. I noticed that even though I haven't been in the Country that long I know a lot about the people already, probably because they remind me of the people in my life back home.

"Hey Sky, and uh Elliot" Ace walked over a little confused.

Elliot tensed up and we all kept walking, "Get lost again" Elliot asked Ace.

Ace laughed and brushed the leaves off his jacket, "Nah just having a new adventure"

"Oh okay" Elliot scoffed and rolled his eyes. I laughed at the sight of the two rivals, though when they both noticed me laugh they looked rather confused.

"Why are you laughing? Did something funny happen" Ace asked.

"No its just you two and how you guys act" I smiled at both of them. When Ace finally got a good glimpse of my face he pulled my arm and stopped us all from walking on. Placing his other hand on the side of my face that Blood had hit, I flinched and he looked rather pissed now.

"Who did this to you" he spat as he moved my hair to see the whole mark. "Sky who did this? Was it the Hare? or the Hatter? Or Peter? " He kept ranting on.

Elliot stepped closer and calmly said to Ace, "The Hatter. Though, I assure you Sky will not come near him if this what he thinks is okay to do to her"

Ace tensed up and let go of me, he grunted and turned to walk to direction we had just come from. I grabbed for him, bit pulled on the bottom of his trench coat instead. He turned back around to see me, looking pitiful as ever. "Don't go Ace, what has been done has been done. Elliot saved me from his wrath the second time he went to hurt me. It's not worth it." I said then gestured for him to continue walking with Elliot and I.
