I wanted to shove my head through a wall. How the hell do you get a boy to notice you! And he keeps giving me mixed signals like do I have to wear a fucking tin foil hat to get the correct signal from Beckett? Because if that's what it takes I swear to god I will. And men say we're confusing! He'll be super sweet and caring, then he'll turn on the charm, and then he'll remember who I am and back off, do I need to tape a sign to my forehead that says in bold print 'I LIKE YOU! LOVE ME!' Cause I will! I groaned and flopped back into my bed who knew I was this desperate? A knock at my door caught my attention "come in!" I yelled and then my three additional family members busted through my bedroom door "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Archer crowed body slamming me. If he was aiming to knock the air out of me it definitely worked. "It's your birthday too you elephant" I wheezed "GET OFF" I shoved him off my bed. My mom sat on the empty side of my bed and patted my head "happy birthday sweetheart" she cooed handing me a small cupcake with a little lit candle stuck in the frosting. I smiled at her and took the cupcake. "Thanks Eomma" I mumbled blowing the flame out after making a wish. Mika Shot me a thumbs up and handed me a movie shaped present wrapped in princess paper, I smiled at him and ripped it open. The wrapping revealed a Batman animated movie set that contained 11 movies. "Oh my gosh I didn't know they made the movie Batman vs the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"  I grinned at Mika and he laughed "you haven't heard anything until you hear Batman say cowabunga" he finished grinning. Archer handed me a box "here" he grumbled. I unwrapped it and raised my eyebrows as a cylindrical can of pepper spray fell into my hands "I'm not gonna be close by forever, I'd rather have you be able to protect yourself sis." I smiled at him and thanked him feeling safe. Later that day Mika, Archer and I were all sitting on the couch having a Batman marathon when a knock on the door startled us. "Hang on" I said standing to answer the door I opened the door on the third knock and Beckett stood there with his hands in his pockets he looked up at me with a wry smile "hey Reumi" he said looking at me "can I come in?" He asked. I opened the door wider and he sauntered through the door frame, he pulled a rectangular box from his pocket and handed it to me "happy birthday sweetheart" he recited with a grin. I smiled up at him and took the box from his outstretched hand. "Thank you, but you didn't have to do this Beckett" I mumbled looking at the box wrapped in silver paper. I unwrapped it and popped it open I let out a fan girlish squeal "OMGOD" I shrieked. In the box lay three BTS concert tickets, not just regular ones. FRONT ROW SEATS. "Holy shit Beckett! These must've cost a fortune" Beckett shrugged "I pulled some strings, do you like them?" He genuinely asked looking worried. My mouth dropped open and I launched myself at him "are you fucking kidding me Beckett, I LOVE THEM!!!! IM SO EXCITED!!!!!" I exclaimed wrapping my arms and legs around him like a Koala. He laughed and patted my back "I'm glad" he muttered laying his chin on the top of my head. I pulled away from him when gagging sounds came from the living room I turned and watched as Archer gagged. Mika was staring at him like he had a disease, Archer sat back on the couch sighing "ah, look at that! All better now!" He looked very proud of himself and checked something off in a notebook, he shoved the notebook back into his pocket. He gave us an innocent look "what, I'm sorry did I ruin your moment? Oops?" He shrugged. I threw the silver wrapping at him, effectively hitting him directly between the eyes. I ignored Archer's dramatic wail of agony and turned back to Beckett "you wanna have a Batman marathon Bucket?" I asked, Beckett grinned at me and started singing the Batman theme.
