"HOLY SHIT!" Lanie screamed "BECKETT ARI NEEDS A HOSPITAL NOW" she shouted. Beckett took my hand and pressed a palm to the small of my back as he led us out of the hotel ballroom. I death gripped his hand as contractions wrecked my body, this is what planning a wedding three weeks away from Yuwa's due date. I groaned as Beckett folded me into the passenger seat of his Chevy Blazer that replaced Edna, it was more conventional for a baby. Thank god I had changed out of my wedding dress. He raced us to the hospital and got me inside, at the stroke of midnight baby Yuwa Jade Stark was brought into the world. She was precious that's all I could think when the doctor held the squirming, screaming baby in her hands the doctor smiled at me "congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stark she is a perfectly healthy baby" she then laid Yuwa on my chest.

"Oh my goodness" I cooed Yuwa's little hand gripped my finger "Beckett she's perfect" I cried. Yuwa continued to cry as Beckett crouched beside me and looked into his daughter's little face,

"Hello there princess, I'm your daddy" he whispered as he stroked her little hand with his finger.

"Ma'am we'll go get her cleaned up and we'll be right back" I nodded and they picked up the small human. Beckett looked longingly after the nurses,

"Go Beck" I said he looked at me searching my eyes, he then dropped a kiss on my forehead and hurried to the other side of the room. Damn I was tired and sweaty, I felt gross all over thank god for the epidural I was numb from the waist down, just think about shoving a watermelon through a small hole in a pair of pantyhose. Yeah, stay safe children, wrap it before you tap it, unless you have a discussion like Beckett and I did.

Beckett pulled me out of my thoughts as he brought back a little pink bundle, I held out my arms and Beckett rested the baby into the cradle of my arms. "Before you get everyone can we just have some quality family time?" I asked looking at him "Beckett we are a family now, this is our daughter" I sobbed.

"I know angel, I'm so proud of you" He kissed me and admired Yuwa's little face "she looks just like you, you know." I admired the babygirl that had finally settled down

"She has your hair" I murmured caressing her little cheek with my finger, the thin baby fluff atop her head was black as night. She had my eye-shape and Beckett's plump lips, she yawned and I choked "she has dimples!" I cheered. Beckett laughed at my enthusiasm and left to update our friends and family on the state of baby Stark.

A month later and Beckett and I were still adjusting to life with our newest family member, Manon hated the fact that her peace and quiet was destroyed by the screaming infant in the baby swing. Fenrys adored Yuwa he slept by her crib in the nursery every night and never left her side. Yuwa adored Fenrys, she had no idea what the big fury thing was, but it was warm and gentle and she loved it, every time she saw that shock of white fur she squealed in excitement. Lanie visited me every damn day just so she could see her goddaughter, I felt like I was being used for my baby, but it was nice having people around to help me with her. My mom and Mai came over to see their grandchild, they always brought homemade dinners with them when they came to visit which was a godsend. Yuwa adored her uncles and her aunts, Archer visited with Lanie every now and then, Mika and Roy visited on the weekends depending on their schedules and Lysandra and Freya FaceTimed us at least every month. The only problem Beckett and I were having was trying to get alone time, just last week I invited Beckett to take a shower with me after we put Yuwa to bed and just as he was about to join me she started crying. It's like she has this sixth sense and it was starting to get on Beck's nerves, so after pleading with Lanie and Archer they are babysitting her tonight at their place which meant some damn quality time, FINALLY.

I made sure Lanie and Archer would have everything they would need to take care of Yuwa for the night and drove back home to my husband. I opened the door to our house and breathed in the scent of the lasagna Beckett had in the oven, it was nice having spouse that could cook. I dropped my keys onto a hook and set my purse on the shoe rack by the door, I had just finished hanging up my coat when strong arms banded around my abdomen.
