Holly walked into work and groaned to herself. She felt rough as anything. Holly walked into the staffroom and rolled her eyes as she saw cal who was flirting with cal, holly knew what he was like and didn't know why it bothered her but it did. Holly sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. She told herself that she was only bothered as she was carrying his baby and it was nothing more. Cal walked into the staffroom and smiled as he saw holly "how are you feeling?" He asked as she looked to him and sighed "tired, aching, nauseous" she said as cal looked to her and smiled "I'm sorry" he said as she smiled. He handed her a bacon sandwich as she took it from him and smiled "thanks" she said as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled "we can do this, I promise even if you look like crap" he said.
Holly looked to him and rolled her eyes "it's your fault" she said as he looked to her and smirked as he stood against the locker "how do you say that?" He asked as she looked to him "your the one that got me pregnant" holly said as Ethan walked into the room and looked to them in shock "what? You got her pregnant?" Ethan asked shocked as holly sighed "he did" she said as Ethan looked to them and smiled "well I'm surprised that he hasn't got anyone pregnant before, congratulations I guess" Ethan said as holly looked to him and smiled "thanks" she said.

Later that day, holly stood in the ED as she stood working on a patient with cal. Cal looked to her and smiled. Cal could tell that it was bothering her as she worked on a homeless patient "I'm fine cal" holly said as he nodded. He knew holly well, and knew when she was upset. She was his best friend after all. "I'm fine, I mean it, it's just well...we take a lot of things for advantage don't we, and we don't even realise it. We have a home, a warm bed and food and what do they have" holly said as cal looked to her and smiled "I know" cal said as he walked over to holly and smiled as he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her into a hug.

Holly stood in the staffroom later that day as she made herself a coffee. Cal walked in and looked to her and smiled "so, are you going to tell me what is going on?" He asked as she looked to him and smiled as she ran a hand through her hair "when the baby comes, I want you to be there for it" holly said "and I will be, you know that" cal said "no, I mean officially there all the time, I don't want you to date anyone else as I want the baby to be your full priority" holly said as looked to her and sighed.
"And what about you?" He asked as she looked to him and rolled her eyes "I'm not going to be worried about dating cal, our baby will be my priority" holly said as cal nodded "okay, so no dating for both of us" he said as she looked to him and smiled as he pulled her into a hug and kissed the top of her head, but for just how long could holly and cal continue to hide their real feelings for each other?
