Baby with my best friend (Casualty)

Holly got to work and stood in the ED and frowned to herself. She was worried as cal hadn't returned to work and she was worried. Holly knew that cal hadn't been himself especially since he found out he truth about Emilie. Holly walked into the staffroom and grabbed her phone out of her locker and rang cal. Holly sighed to herself as the phone went to answer phone "cal, it's me where the hell are you? You are meant to be at work. I'm worried about you call me, I know that there's a lot going on but don't shut me out" she said as she hung up the phone and sighed. She was worried over cal and felt as if he had done something so stupid. Ethan walked into the room as she looked to him and smiled "have you spoke to cal?" She asked as he rolled his eyes "no I have better things to do. Your better off without him" Ethan said as he walked off as holly sighed to herself. She knew they were fighting and they weren't getting on.

Later holly went to pride with Iain as a stand by doctor. He looked to her and smiled as she rested a hand on her small baby bump "who would of thought that you would end up pregnant by cal?" Iain said as holly looked to him and smiled "that's what one too many shots does to you, besides he's not the worse guy and he's good looking after all so the baby will be cute" holly said "well it wouldn't be anyways, I mean have you seen you" he said as she looked to him and smiled. She ran a hand through her hair and smiled "well I know that" holly said as Iain looked to her and chuckled.

"I have to ask, I know your having a baby with him but you seen close and I mean closer that you have without, are you in love with him?" Iain asked as holly frowned to herself as she looked to Iain and sighed "were just friends that's all" holly said not knowing the answer to that question. She knew how close she and cal had got since he had got her pregnant but he was still her best friend and she didn't want to think over what it meant to fall in love with him.

Later holly got back to the ED. She frowned as she walked into cubicles and saw cal sitting with a injuries shoulder. She walked over to him and looked to him "so you are alive?" She said as he looked to her and sighed "sorry, I was with Emilie" he said as she nodded "and what about me I'm having your baby, you can't flake out on me" she said as he nodded "I know, I'm sorry" cal said as she walked over and put his shoulder back in place as he screamed in pain "I'm going to be screaming on a lot more pain in a few months, you never failed to amaze me though cal, what your doing with Emilie is great. Your going to be a great dad" holly said as she placed a hand on his cheek as they almost kissed as lily walked in and looked to them "right, so were all done here" holly said to cal "thanks hol"

Later that day, holly wakes into emilies hospital room and saw cal. He looked to her and smiled "she's getting worse" he said as she walked over to him and hugged him "I know but I'm here for you, no matter what happens" holly said as cal looked to her and smiled as he leant in and kissed her. She froze for a moment before she kissed him back wondering just what was going on with them.
