"But you gotta love the Eagles right?" Luca asked Sander as we all sat around the table. Sander had just mentioned being born in Pennsylvania and Luca was of course asking about sports.

Sander grinned in a carefree way with his arm slung over my chair and shook his head. "No my Dad made me a Steelers fan."

Luca sighed and shook his head playfully. He then turned to me. "Lex your new boyfriend is such a disappointment."

My face went bright red. "LUCA!"

Sander smirked at me. "I make up for it in other ways."

Even redder. "SANDER!"

"Well at least she finally got one. Honestly I thought she'd be single forever-"

Face=Tomato. "LUCA!"

He cracked a grin. "Sorry Lex just messing with ya."

I glared at him. "You know there is nothing wrong with being single." My glare turned pointed. "I don't remember you ever dating anyone either."

He held up his hands. "I got no shame and you're right. Sorry you're right nothing wrong with being single."

"Alright kids before World War Single breaks out let's get out desert." Mom intervened making us all laugh.

Besides my brother's ever fun jokes dinner went incredibly well, Luca and Sander got along really well. My parents absolutely loved Sander, and I enjoyed seeing everyone so happy. It was a happy victory for me.

After dinner I walked with Sander to his car. He turned to me when we reached his car. "I had a lot of fun with you today."

"I had so much fun with you too!" I beamed at him.

He sighed then chuckled. "Wow you really are adorable."

"And you're handsome." I told him back.

That made him smile. "Wanna do something tomorrow?"

"Course." I smiled.

"Why don't you come to my house? You can meet my family."

"That would be lovely." I beamed at him.

"Perfect."

After he left I went upstairs to my room and FaceTimed Arielle. I filled her in on everything and she was so excited for me. Talking to her made me realize how much I missed her.

"You know I think this is amazing what's happening with you and Sander. It's been a long time since bikers and surfers got along and more importantly I'm happy he makes you happy."

I smiled. "And that's why you're the best." My smile faded though as I said. "I'm sorry for not being at the beach that much and for not hanging out with you. I feel I've been being selfish."

"Girl please you are never selfish and we are with each other all the time you can hang out with Sander." She rolled her eyes as if I was being absolutely ridiculous. "I'm just so glad you're having fun."

"Thanks Ari! And maybe I can find you a hot, sweet biker guy." I winked.

She smirked. "I have no arguments."

After hanging up with Arielle I went to Luca.

"Sooo what do you think?" I asked giddy.

He rolled his eyes and sighed. "I hate to admit it but he's a great guy."

I beamed. "You really think that?"

"Yeah honestly he's not the dick I thought he was." He paused. "And he cares about you."
