Cold, it was so cold. The water is so, so cold. Will this be how you die? Drowning in icy cold waters, murdered by a beast who wished to rip your soul from your body. You hoped not, but your hope was dimming as was your vision.
You remembered the story of an angel called Castiel, and how he would watch over those in this garrison. You weren't usually a religious type but it was your last attempt upon life.
'Dear Castiel who art in heaven, please be my hero and save me.'
~~
Meanwhile Castiel was with Dean and Sam. A religious artifact had been stolen and was causing chaos in town.
"So do you have any clue as too who might be dealing the souls black market this time?" Dean asked Cass.
"I have no idea who could do this, it may be-" Cass cut out as he heard a prayer.
'Dear Castiel who art in heaven, please be my hero and save me.'
The plea was pathetic but Cass couldn't say no. He shifted his being into the river where he saw the (hair colour) maiden. His hand clasped around her wrist and the two were back in the motel room Dean had hired.
"Cass what the-" He cut himself off as he heard your coughing. You coughed up water onto yourself and the bed and you pitted those who were sleeping in the bed. Dean grabbed a salt shotgun and pointed at you, except you of course thought it was the real thing.
"Don't shoot, I'll give you anything but my soul." You blurted out in a rambling panic.
"What do you mean soul?" Sam asked from his seat at the small, chipped wood table.
"Your not those angel guys trying to take souls?" You questioned. Dean cocked the shotgun and pointed it to you.
"Tell us everything and don't skip out on any details." Dean warned as the shotgun came closer to your face.
"Umm... My name is (First name) (Last Name), I'm (age) and I'm a Nephilim, not the Mortal Instruments half angel, half demon but the half angel, half human." You rambled, panicking at the gun inches from your eye.
"Which angel spawned you?" Castiel asked, it was important for him so he could see the angel in question was punished for spawning an abomination.
"Cass, that's not relevant!" Dean snapped, wanting the info fast before you seemingly would pass out.
"Yes it is Dean!" Castiel hissed.
"Umm... some angel called Castiel. My mum tells me stories on how cute he was and how they had a whole forbidden fruit thing going on."
"You lie, I've never had occasion before." Cass was angry with you, lying like that.
"Yeah, she said he was inexperienced but he made up for it in creativity. Eww I just finally understood what that meant." You shook your head of the thoughts and hitting the barrel to the left. The gun fired salt into the wall.
"You held a salt gun at me!" You hissed annoyed. "If you wanted info all you had to do was ask!"
"Well then, would you please tell us what you know of a black-market soul trade?" Sam asked being he was the only one acting like and adult with Cass glaring and Dean just being Dean I guess.
"Sure," you smiled. "I was walking home when an angel, I think he called himself Dantail wanted to sell me an angel artifact for my soul and I refused. Then he tried to take my soul from me but I used what little angel powers I got in defence to fight them off and he pushed me in the river." You explained.
"What do you mean little powers?" Dean asked.
"Well my kind sort of separate into two power groups Warrior Nephilims who are stronger than normal angels and Guardian Nephilims whom have stronger healing and mental powers than normal angels. I'm a guardian." You explained.
"Well thank you for the information on Dantail but you have to leave now." Castiel said touching your head and sending you to your room in your house.
~~
You saw Castiel two weeks later in your room as you played video games.
"HolyFuckingBalls!" You called out in surprise as you saw him.
"Tell me what I was like when you were conceived." Well it was a better word than spawned.
"A broken man." You explained and then Cass was gone.
You didn't see him for a long time after that. He appeared on your wedding day. When your children were born, their fathers funeral and he occasionally took your children but always left a note since the first time he took them you threw a vase at him. He was always at a distance and only muttered a few words to you. He was becoming closer to the broken man your mother told you off every time you saw him.
Now you were very old, you mother long passed away and your children with grandchildren of their own, your time was almost up and you knew that when your father appeared.
"This is it, isn't it?" You asked and he nodded solemnly.
"Will I go to heaven to be with my husband?" A slightly happier nod.
"Will you look after my children and their children for me?" He nodded again and you smiled before going limp.
~~
You and your husbands heaven was an odd place. A small cottage house which was bigger on the inside. You where as young as 18 which is when you first met your husband and he looked 21 again. You peered out the window to see Castiel looking though the glass.
"Hello my child." He greeted.
