She was by herself. All alone, standing in the empty corrider, with her bag held firmly by the handle in front of her.  Hairs fell from her dark pony tail as she dropped the bag to adjust her green polo shirt.

It was obvious that she was the last one to arrive. With it nearly being eight at night, she figured maybe it would be best to leave. Everyone was suppose to be here by seven in the afternoon and no later, but maybe it wasn't too late. She was the head master's grand daughter after all.

She tapped her foot against the floors, making light noises echo throughout the area. It was quiet. Way too quiet for a college none the less.

"Sanny?"

The young woman looked around in surprise until her eyes stopped on a firmilar figure standing in one of the entry ways. His hair wavy with curls poking out from here and there, glasses resting on the bridge of his nose. He looked tired, but it was hard to not recognize that cheerful voice.

"Grandpa!"

Leaving her bag behind, Sanny sprinted over, wrapping her arms around the head master's neck, her feet dangling in the air. Granda Rome's heavy cologne engulfed her as she snuggled into his chest.

He gave her a gentle squeeze before pulling away. "Well, well, well," he chuckled. "Looks like you haven't gotten any bigger, my beautiful grand daughter."

Sanny sighed and dropped down from his neck, the soles of her sneakers smacking against the floor. "Don't blame me for my size grandpa. It isn't my fault the milk didn't work." she mumbled, straightening her shirt.

Grandpa Rome let out a heartfilled laugh as he put a hand on her shoulder. "At least you got the Italian genes. Beautiful, smart, kind-"

"Grandpa!"

"Okay, okay. I can see you are exhausted from your travels bella," He said as he led her to his office down one of the halls. "What took you so long to get here? Your bothers were the first ones to enroll this morning." Granda Rome closed the door behind him while Sanny made her way over to the leather chair beside his desk. She plopped down and closed her eyes. "My flight got cancelled at the last minute." She opened her eyes are looked up at her grandfather. "I am so sorry Grandpa. I would've called but there was so signal. I didn't know what else to do. You were right. I should've just flown with Feliciano and Lovino."

Instead of looking disappointed, the head master put on a smile. "Don't apologize bambino. Things like that happen sometimes." He said, gently stroking her head.

Sanny frowned and looked away, a blush of embaressment filing her cheeks. Her grandfather's smile only stretched wider when he saw his grand daughter's look of shame. "Don't worry, you can still enroll."

She turned her head and stared up at the head master, her eyes filled with glee. "R-really? I'm not too late?"

"Do you really think I would not allow my own grand daughter to attend college because of some mistake of her air travel?"

Without thinking, she jumped up from her chair and gave Grandpa Rome a tight hug. "Oh, thank you, thank you so much Grandpa! Grazie!" she exclaimed. Granda Rome returned the hug and gently sat her back down. He strolled over to the wardrobe on the otherside of his desk and turned the right knob, opening the right door, He reached in and pulled out a girls' uniform. He returned to his grand daughter and placed it into her outstretched hands. "This will be your uniform for as long as you attend this college." he explained as Sanny reviewed the contents. The uniform was... normal. A red plaid skirt with matching red jacket that went over the white sweater vest. The skirt was abnormally very short. This was her grandpa after all.

She thanked her grandfather as he went around his desk, reaching into one of the draws, pulling out a shiny gold key. He tossed it on top of the uniform sitting in her lap and smiled. "Don't worry, you will be rooming with your best friend along with someone you don't know."

"Scotty?"

"Mhm."

"But what about the other girl?"

The headmaster shook his head and waved his hand towards the door signaling that it was up to his grand daughter to figure it out for herself. With a curt nod, Sanny arose from the chair and walked over to her grand father, giving him a farawell hug. "I've missed you so much grandpa." she mumbled into his button up white shirt, She felt her grand father engulf her in a huge hug, her feet dangling in the air. "I have missed you as well, Sanny. Now then," he said, gently setting her back down. "You should go ahead and go up to your room. It will have the number 345 on a silver plaque right next to the door."

"Gotcha. Room 345." Sanny said as she proceeded towards the exit. "Oh wait! Sanny!" Grandpa Rome called. Sanny stopped in her tracks and turned. "What is it Grandpa?" she asked.

He gave her a tired smile. "You left your duffle bag in the main corrider. Be sure to grab it." he said. A surprise gasp escaped from his gran daughter's lips. "Oh! Thank you Grandpa, I will be sure to grab it! Good night!"

Her shoes slapped noisily against the floor as she raced to grab her duffle. I hope the janitor didn't pick it up! Otherwise I will have a lot of explaining to do-

The thoughts stopped as soon as her feet came from under neath he,r slamming her body against the waxed flooring. She groaned and helped herself back up. "Sanny, you big turkey..." she mumbled as she dusted herself off. "Hey, is this yours?"

The voice had caught her off gaurd. She froze and stared at the floor beneath her. A moment of silence filled the room. The person that the voice belonged to cleared his throat. "Ahem."

A shiver ran up Sanny's spine as she snapped her head towards the voice. "Sorry, you just-" she stopped. There was no way. No way.

He was exactly how she remembered him. The jaw lengthed hair cut, the smooth teenaged style, his voice. There was no mistaking it, This was the same guy.

Without looking at him, Sanny walked over and snatched her bag from his grasp. "Yeah, thanks." she growled. His gaze was burning into her back as she ran up the stairs. Surely he hadn't recognized her.

She was almost to her floor, when her feet fell from underneath her, once again sending her to the floor. Her knee caps bumped against the stairs as she caught her bag. "Ow..." she groaned. Foot steps echoed behind her. They were calmly getting closer. Her body froze just as the man walked passed her. "Good seeing you again." he mumbled.

Sanny quickly stood, her duffle bag hitting her thigh. "Same goes to you." she muttered as she skipped by him. Damn you. she thought as she walked swifty down the hall.

Damn you.

She glanced towards the right side of the hall. 341, 343... aha!

Her hand fell into her pocket and grabbed the key. She roughly inserted it into the lock.

Damn you.

She turned, hearing the lock click. Quickly, she dropped the key back into her pocket and opened the door, almost jumping into the dorm room.

Damn you, Leon Kirkland.
