Leon paced back and fourth with the boxes resting on his hip. He tapped his foot impatiently as he waited for someone to come open the door. He blew a strand of hair away from his face and it again flopped back across his forehead. He couldn't take it anymore.
"Yong-Soo! I don't have all day!" He shouted down the hall. His voice echoed throughout the wooden walls and passed through the slide screen doors. The floors vibrated as a figure started to run down the hall. "Okay, okay, I'm coming, geez!"
Yong-Soo came into view, his blue sweats and that curl that always stuck out near his bangs made him even more noticable. In his hand, was a DS. His life when he didn't have one. He quickly walked over to Leon and took the boxes from him. "You know I'm stronger than you, da-ze!" he declared. "Da-ze" was like his catch phrase that he always said. No one knows where it came from. It's been happening since the day he could talk.
Leon sighed and opened the door. "Yeah, yeah, just go put them in the truck." he directed. Yong Soo let out a huff. "Would it kill you to say a decent 'please'?" Leon groaned and rubbed the back of his neck. "Okay, please." He gruffed. Yong-Soo smiled and stepped outside, carrying the boxes on either side of him. Sunlight poured into the house and streamed across the floor. Warm, humid air filled the room, relaxing Leon. He had been moving, stressing, and aching for the past few weeks, trying to prepare himself to go to Tokyo.
Highschool had ended only a mere month ago, and he was already starting to prepare for the life of a college student. He didn't care if he was rushing things, he just wanted to better ready himself.
Leon and his siblings all attended the same highschool and they all graduated at the same time during their senior year. The oldest one, Yao, was the older brother of the house. He always made sure Leon and his siblings got what they needed and never too little. Leon looks the most like him out of all the siblings. The only difference was the ponytail. Leon had one when he was a child, but clipped it off. His hair was a normal boy-style except for the front ends that reached to his jaw line. The second oldest, Kiku, was the quiet normal one who was obsessed with all things anime. He had moved to Japan nearly six years ago and Leon hasn't seen him since. Yong Soo was the third oldest. He loved to claim things and say that they originated in his home country, South Korea, even though they really didn't (he also had a big groping problem, but let's skip that detail for now). Next was Mei, the girl of the family, also Yao's favorite. She was the girly type but she actually made the look cute. Of course, Leon could be cute too, but he passed that phase a long time ago.
Then finally, there's Leon, the baby of the family. He was the popular kid in highschool, always surronded by girls and the other well-known teenagers. It's safe to say that he was indeed, a sexy young man. A single one as well.
And now here I am, he thought. About to attend one of the top Universities in all of Japan. Yong Soo stepped back inside and fanned himself with his hand. "Boy, it sure is hot," he exclaimed. "I wouldn't mind running around in Mei's bra and-"
"Ahem."
The two teenagers turned around to find the brother of the house, Yao, standing at the end of the hall. His arms were folded neatly across his chest over his pink Hello Kitty apron. "Ni hao, Gege." Leon greeted. "Ni hao, Leon. What are you two doing?" Yao asked. Yong Soo grinned and ran over to Yao, nearly knocking his older brother to the ground as he hugged him. "Aniki! We are just packing for college." Yong Soo replied as he pressed his face into Yao's chest. Aniki was Yao's nickname. No one but Yong Soo called him that. "AIYA, YONG SOO, RESPECT YOUR ELDERS, ARU!" Yao yelled.
"Now then, why are you packing so early? You have awhile." Yao said as he tried to pry off the over attached Yong Soo. Leon shook his head and shut the door. The sunlight disappeared and the humid air was replaced with gentle cool breezes from the fan sitting beside the door, blowing wind left and right. "I just want to prepare myself, that's all." he said with a shrug.
Yao sighed and smiled. "I don't believe that some lazy teenager like you would want to be prepared so early. It's summer, you should be enjoying yourself, not stressing yourself out like this."
"Yeah, but-"
"No but's."
Yong Soo released Yao and hopped over to Leon. "Aniki is right! You need to relax! We literally just graduated man." Leon tensed as Yong Soo grabbed him by his shoulders and begin to lead him up the wooden stairs. "Let's play video games, da~ze!"
"Yong Soo, I really should-"
"The only answer I'll accept is "I really should play video games with my brother and pack later'."
"Fine, you win."
"I always win, da-ze!"
"Of course you do."
