All those years
They've spent running around the world
Arguing with their fathers
And going out to parties,
Somehow I'm the lucky one in their eyes.
I recently reconnected with a boy I've known for 8 years
5 of which I spent suicidal and depressed
Still he said to me,
You always seemed so happy...
