Rose.

My alarm clock went off at about 11am the next morning, I jumped outta bed and went down stairs. My Mom was in the kitchen making breakfast. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I smelt the food. Pancakes, eggs, bacon and some toast. God, my mom was an amazing person sometimes.

"Good morning Rose." She said, getting some plates out of the cupboard. "Hope your hungry this morning. I made some blueberry pancakes, your favorite!"

"You know I'll always be hungry when you make blueberry pancakes." I pick up a piece of toast from a large plate that had like, 20 pieces of toast on it, and took a bite. "Needs more jelly." I go in the fridge and get out grape jelly and some orange juice.

"I'm going with your Aunt to help her with the wedding arrangements. Want to come? Or do you just wanna stay home?"

"I'll just stay home." I pour a glass of orange juice and sit down where my plate is.

"Alright. I wish I could stay home," Mom puts 3 pancakes on my plate. "But that woman just bugs me to come. Because I know what to get. 'I have taste in decorations and what not'. She's damn straight about that." I just laugh. My mom is pretty funny when it comes to talking about my Aunt.

I grab some more toast, some bacon and scrambled eggs and eat breakfast.

She leaves after I finish breakfast and I go and get dressed. I put on an old pair of pink skinny jeans I have, I put on my Nirvana shirt, and throw on one of my Hollister hoodies and go outside. It's a little cooler than yesterday, and very cloudy. I walk through the woods, which seem very dead today. But that doesn't stop me from meeting up with Fever.

I have to tell her about last night. I have to warn her about Dresden.

After walking through the tall grass, I get to the spot me and Fever went to yesterday, and notice she isn't here yet. Maybe she's still sleeping. I sit on the tire swing and think about stuff.

Fever.

I open my eyes to notice that it isn't raining anymore and there is no sun. It's cooled off since last night. Like, a lot. I get up, stretch my legs, and find the trail. I feel like I've been sleeping for years, but I was just really tired from the night before.

I get on the trail and start walking to the field. Everything seemed dull. Colors of the leaves didn't pop. The wind barely blew. Birds were barely singing. But it wasn't a nice day to be out I guess. But that doesn't stop me. But something else does stop me.

I'm thrown onto the wet, ground. Something large stood over me, breathing heavily. All the air was knocked out of me. It took me a minute to get my breath back. I look up and see him.

Dresden.

He's snarling. He's also got me pinned on the ground. I look into his red eyes that could pretty much steal my soul. My heart beats fast.

"GET OFF OF ME!" I snarl at him and try to bite at him.

"Shut up, runt!" He growls. "I thought I'd find you in these parts."

"What are you doing here?!"

"Just strolling on this maaaarvelous day." He smirks. "Wait until Connor hears about this."

He cackles. His voice is deep, intimidating, and can scare off even the most toughest wolf out there. He doesn't scare me. He might have me pinned down, but when I get the chance, I will kill him. He puts his face up to mine, "Say your last words, Athena." I bite hard into his snout, digging in hard, making sure it draws blood. He yells out. Suddenly he falls to the ground. I get up as quickly as I can, and see Rose, who had hit him with a large tree branch.
