*Ruby POV*

In a quick attempt to escape. The man grabbed the back of my collar. Preventing me from escaping.

Now I am dangling in the air with my collar within his grasp with me facing him. Staring into the deep dark orbs of his mask. The smell of freshly grounded mint filled my nostrils.

We continue to look at one another until he reaches out his hand. Gesturing for the journal. I reluctantly hand it to him.

He seemed to be calmed by this and gently let me down onto the ground.

???: I am truly sorry for my behavior. Madam. It was unprofessional and ill-mannered.

Me: It's o-k. S-sorry for messing with your equipment.

???: It is quite alright. Madam.

Before any of us can continue. Yang and Yatsuhashi break down the door.

Yang: Ruby! Step away from her you evil piece of shit!

You then gaze at her through your mask. You did not appreciate her unkindness towards you.

Y/n: It is very ill practice to speak to a doctor in that manner. Madam.

Ruby: Yang! Please don't upset him. I just got him to calm down.

Yang: What!?!? After what he did to those people!? What about the soldiers!?!

Ruby: Yang. Our job is to bring him back to Professor Ozpin. Not kill him.

Yang seems to relax, but she is still very upset leaving you alive.

Ruby: Look. Mister. We were sent by our headmaster to bring you to him.

Y/n: Did he tell you why?

Ruby: He did, but he was not clear on why. We just assumed its because of your semblance.

Y/n: I have no semblance or Aura. What I am able to inflict on others is very real and if it were to break from me. It will wreak havoc across remnant... You have to understand... What I possess is not a weapon or so-called semblance or power. It's a plague, and its sole purpose is to kill all things living... Including Grimm.

Coco then walks in with the rest of the group.

Coco: Then why do you constantly infect people with it?

Y/n: So I can study it. So I can perhaps learn how to make a vaccine or a cure. What you see before you (gestures to junior and the family) is a refined version of the pestilence. It cannot be contagious unless I allow it to be.

Coco: Was the family one of your so-called subjects!?!

Y/n: Yes, a pity they had to die, but a necessary evil.

Coco: Necessary evil!? What kind of sick logic are you implying you bastard!?

Y/n: We are bound thither; we are hastening to the same common goal. Black death calls all things under the sway of its law.

Everybody grew silent at the words that had seeped out of your mouth. Their faces had the look of deep thought plastered on them.

Coco: *sighs* If you are willing to come with us. I am sure Professor Ozpin will not mind providing you with a lab to study your experiments in.

Y/n: Hhhmmm. Very well. I shall come with, but on the account that you help me pack my research for transit.

The teams then glare at you in confusion.
