Chapter 6: UH we have a problem

After Ruby's little study session with Y/n yesterday.

She was more or less ready for the final exam.

Weiss: "Did you study Ruby?"

Ruby: "mhm"

Weiss: "You don't seem so sure."

Ruby: "Trust me. Weiss. I know what I'm doing."

*Weiss POV*

I wonder how she will react to her test score. I just know it's gonna be bad. She has this streak when she acts like she knows the subject so I can get off her case, but I know her little scheme.

Later that day. The team got their scores and went off over who has the best grade.

Yang: "I got a 45 on mine."

Black: " I got a 77."

Weiss: "I got a 95." She bragged

WBY: " What did you get Ruby?"

The girl only smirked and showed them the paper.

WBY: "A 97!??!"

Ruby: "Yup." She said coolly.

Weiss nearly fainted. So Yang grabbed her and rested her on her shoulders.

Yang: "I think we should head back to the room."

Blake: "We're done for the week anyway."

Ruby: "Yeah you guys go do that. I'm going to visit Y/n."

Frustrating Yang that Ruby has been spending so much time with that psychopath. She turned around to let Ruby have it, but it was too late. The little red riding hood had already booked it to the cereal killers "home".

Back at your lab. You were currently looking over a corpse that had been invested with the chronic waste disease. Coupled with a brain worm. It's nothing good.

This disease had just evolved to transmit into humans. We may have a pandemic on our hands. One that is quickly and quietly spreading.

You put on your overcoat, opened the double doors and walked straight into Ruby

Y/n: "Ah Madam rose. Please if you so wish to talk to me I am busy at the moment, but you may speak on our way to the headmaster's office."

Before Ruby could gather her senses. You were exiting the hallway leading into the main corridor. Ruby jogged over to you.

Ruby: "What's happening Y/n?"

Y/n: "Something terrible."

Ruby knows what you just said wasn't said lightly. She can feel the uneasiness you're giving off into the atmosphere around you.

You and Ruby made it to the elevator leading up to Ozpins office.

Ozpin:" Ah, Mr. L/n. How may I help you this evening?"

Y/n: "Do you happen to have access to the vale medical archives? I discovered something that may be a detriment to the very existence of both the Humans and the Faunas, and it's spreading."

Glynda:" And how exactly did you acquire such information?!"

Ruby: " Come on professor..... He's
Y/n!"

Glynda shows visible discomfort. She storms off to the elevators whispering something incoherent.

Y/n: " Good heavens, seems we may have a victim of an... Unknown... Disease."
