" I don't care that your friends with him your not invited and neither was he." Clarke says angrily as she places a firm hand on the patio door keeping the strangers from entering through the back, keeping them in the back garden. They laughed in her face.Maybe 5, perhaps 6 people were stood in the back garden smoking god knows what and trying anything to be let inside; Clarke is having non of it. Although the house didn't belong to her, she felt obliged to make sure this party wasn't the worst ever- she hated feeling responsible for everyone and despite a group of teenage boys, the same age as her, she didn't feel one bit intimidated.
" Come on darling, we are the party." A boy, with dirty blonde hair with at least a couple of inches on her says as he leans against the wall where her hand is. Clarke becomes conscious of how close he is and his friends have formed a somewhat semicircle around her as behind her is the house and she realized she's actually happy she isn't drunk.
" Not this party." Clarke answers back and she feels a little bit of nerves clog in her stomach, not that she shows it.
" Clarke, come on." Finn says from standing opposite her," Let us in, please." His sparkly eyes weren't having any effect on her, not tonight.
" This is your fault, just leave. Why are you even here?"
" Because we can be, sweetheart." A larger, buffer boy from her other side replies and Clarke turns her head to him, he looks her up and down and she's aware of how short her skirt is. But if she drops her hand they might force their way in, again. Looking behind her, she knows she isn't getting anywhere with them but she won't stop.
" Come on Finn, just go." A familiar voice says from behind her; Murphy.
" They won't go." Clarke whispers to him and he steps out, in front of Clarke and also attempts to convince them.
" Murph, what are you doing? Your our friend. Come on man, let us in." The boy with dirty blond hair says
" No Jay. Not my house, not my party. Go, before someone calls the cops."
" Are you threatening me." Jay stands up from the wall, squaring up to him. At this point, the group had backed further into the garden and Clarke immediately left the door and when to Murphy's side before things could get worse.
" Murphy, don't. Just go inside, I'll handle them." Clarke states, the boys laugh and despite his growing anger, he leaves her alone with them as he knows how they are. What they do.
She doesn't like the feeling of being alone with them, but no one else seemed to be doing anything about it- she knew the girls' house who it was but she was too drunk to stand never mind doing what Clarke is.
" It's just us now doll." A boy, whose name she learned was Charlie says smugly and Clarke looks to Finn; someone she though she knew well. He stays silent.
" Don't even bother." Clarke states, realizing they've got her center of their circle," Murphy will be back in a second and my guess is the cops have been called so you may as well leave." The words that leave her mouth is utter bullshit- and they know it.
" I don't think he is." Jay snarls, biting his lip. Ignoring what he's implying, Clarke steps forward, motioning to go past; they don't move.
" Excuse me." She asks politely, not meaning a word but they don't shift a muscle,
"Move." She repeats more aggressively, attempting to push past them but he holds her shoulder and pushes her back towards the center. She feels like a ball being passed around," Don't touch me." She warns, but scared." Well we gotta have fun somehow." He smirks
" You wouldn't dare."
" Trust me we would." Charlie laughs. Again a cry for help and Clarke looks at Finn who stays in the corner silent. She's disgusted at him.
