Chapter 28

So it was the day of the party. I wasn't like real excited I was just going for Jack... Or Sam I guess.

I made my way to school and stayed at my locker and Sam pops up of course.

"Hey you excited for tonight's party?" He smiled.

I lifted an eyebrow. "Not as excited as you." I smirked.

He smiled back showing me his straight white teeth. But seriously why does he care so much if I go or not?

"So you're still going?!" He said excitedly.

"Of course Sam. For you!" I said sarcastically and placing a hand on sams shoulder.

He smiled at me. And then I lost all focus on him when Jack walked by.

He didn't even look at me. My heart sank.

Sam noticed me staring and turned to look at what I was and he looked disappointed to see it was jack I was looking at.

"Hey so do you need me to pick you up?" He asked snapping out of his thoughts.

"Huh? Uh no um I'll be okay." I said snapping out of it. I could tell he was upset and frowned.

"Oh..." He said blankly.

I tried to find something to say. I didn't want our conversation to end awkward like always.

I looked down at his neck and saw this silver shark tooth with a black design. I pulled it out and looked at it with my hands.

We smiled at eachother. "I like your necklace."

He smiled down at me. "Thanks."

The bell suddenly rang and we both hurried to get to our class.

The day was the same it was all the time. At the end of the day I I stopped in the music room. I played keep breathing again. Gosh I loved that song I don't know why it just speaks to me I guess.

I went home and wrote and went on instagram and vine and twitter for a while.

Then I got dressed. I wore a green fitted t shirt and black jean skirt and some black converse.

I had no idea how I was getting to the party... I should have just told Sam I needed a ride.

I called up Johnson my only other friend. "Hey Johnson you still going to the party tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah are you?"

"Yeah... Um I kinda need a ride....."

"Oh sure I can just meet me over at my place." He said.

"Thank you Johnson you're a life saver."

I walked over to Johnson's house which was down the street. I knocked on the door and Saw of course.... Jack.

I bit my lip as Johnson came in to hug me.

"You ready to go?" He asked. And looked at Jack.

I knodded and so did jack.

We walked to his garage and hoped in his car.

The only thing keeping the silence away was the music.

Luckily the car ride wasn't that long. I don't know what I was doing here.

When I got there it seemed so wild and loud. I walked in and tried to stay by jack and Jack but I lost them in the crowd.

I didn't even know who's house this was but it was huge and beautiful.

I walked up stairs and found a balcony and sat out.
