(I'm changing August's middle name)

Karin and August cuddled on their pallets in their new living room  while watching The Other Woman. They both sold their Dining room, Living Room, and Bedroom sets because of the move and their new stuff was scheduled to be delivered the next day.

Karin played in August curls as his head rested on her chest. August was so content with life in that very moment... he was in his new house, and was getting a wonderful sleep-inducing head rub from one of the women he loved the most.

"If you keep rubbing my head like that imma fall asleep on you." August chuckled.

Karin laughed."I can't help it. Your hair is sooo soft and it feels good rubbing my fingers through it, but I'll stop because me and the babies want to be in your presence."

"The babies huh?" He rubbed her stomach. "All in all they just be chilling, I wish they'd do some interesting shit, like a cartwheel something." He said, making her giggle.

"Babe your a mess." She shook her head.

The oven dinged, signaling that their cookies were done.

"Yayyyy." Karin sung and got up, making August's Head basically hit the hard wooden floor.

He furrowed his eyebrows at her. "You weird.." He laughed while getting up and walking over to the kitchen where she was at.
He hugged her from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder making her smile.

"I can't believe it August. We really got a house together. Our kids are gonna grow up here and hopefully their kids too." She said as she moved the cookies from the aluminum foil to the plate.

"Well believe it babygirl." He planted sweet kisses on her neck. "I know I been kind of rude towards you lately due to all of the stress from the move and the shit I got going on at my place of business and that don't justify my actions either, but I just need to let you know that love you so much, you so good to me and I appreciate you .""

She smiled at all of the affection he was giving her.

"I love you to baby." Karin turned around and grabbed his face and kissed his face.

August bit down on her lip.

"Ouch boy." She playfully hit his chest.

He laughed and walked around the kitchen to sit on one of the bar stools, so he could be in front of Karin.

He sighed while sitting down. He was preparing to have one of the conversations he really wished he didn't have to have.

"What's wrong?" Karin asked as she moved the warm cookies to the side so she could sit in the island.

"So you know I put this house in your name for a reason, like the thought about it just being for generous reasons was definitely there, but it's deeper reasoning behind that shit." He said while staring in her eyes.

"Okaaaay so what is your reasoning?" Karin said while nodding.

"You know that the shit I'm in right now is dangerous and I just want to have you and my kids to have something fall back on if I was to ever like die or go to Jail for a long time. I paid this house off so you wouldn't have no worries regardless if I'm here or not."

The last thing August wanted to talk about was him dying or being incarcerated but this is his reality.

"What are you trying to say August? I don't like it when you talk like this." She said in a worried tone.

"Look baby, it ain't nothing to be worried about right now. I'm just saying in case. I wanted you to know this is yours and since we not married or anything yet, you can't acquire any of my assets if something happens soon, so I gave you your own assets and when we get married in the future we could just add my name to the documents." He assured.

"So what if something happens to me August?"

"Look if something was to ever happen to you, I'll figure it out. I just don't want you to have to depend on another person let alone another nigga to provide for you. I know you'll have it, but I wanna keep as little stress as I can away from you and us as long as our kids have to depend on us." He said.

Karin's vision got really blurry, the thought of something negative happened to him really hits her where it hurts.

"Can you just stop doing what you do? I don't think I'll ever be right again if I lost you August." She
cried.

"Look, Karin this is real life. I can't control what's gonna happens, but just know as soon as I get what I got going on straightened, then I'm out." He said.

He took her in for a hug because she knew she needed one.
He wiped her tears "l love you mamas."

"I love you too." She said

Their little moment was cut short by August farting.

"My bad, I thought it was gonna be silent." He laughed.

Once the smell hit Karin's nose she gagged.

"Oh my fucking god August, are you kidding me?" She yelled. "You stink!"

"Girl calm down. It don't smell that bad." He continued to laugh.

She got off the island and speed walked to the living room.

"No, no, no. Don't come in here, your gonna make it trail in hereee." She whined.

"Shut up, you love my smells." He said while kissing all over her face.

"Yeah right." She laughed. "Even my sons are saying you smell like dog crap."

"Man all in all, what we gone name them?" He changed the subject.

"I don't know." She rubbed her stomach "I know you said you liked Antwan and I'm okay with that name." She shrugged.

"Aight." He cheesed.

He was beyond happy with being able to name one of his sons.
"So since I named his first name, you got the middle name."

Karin sat and thought for a little.
"I got it! Since my middle name is Imani, his can be Imahri spelt I-M-A-H-R-I."
August nodded. " I actually fuck with that. Antwan Imahri Alsina."

"Okay so since Antwan has an A,  I feel like baby B should have a K. I don't want them to have similar names because I was them to have their own identity."

"What about Kyren Navion Alsina? I don't know what other N name that's as good as mine so he can get my middle name, but I incorporated you in there you get it KaRIN KyREN" He popped his imaginary collar.

Karin giggled. "Alright it's gonna be Kyren Navion and Antwan Imahri?" She asked while writing them down. He nodded.
"You sure?"

"Babygirl, I'm a hunnid' percent positive." He said while scooting her close to him.
