Sorry for any mistakes or errors

Karin and August sat in the waiting room for her 12 week check up.

August was exhausted and hungover, due to the fact he was out all night with Mel, Anthonyi, and KJ. It was only 8 in the morning so in total he's only had 3 hours or sleep.

"I have to come to every appointment Karin, and why they gotta be so early? I'm not even in my right state of mind this early. " He asked while resting his head in the arm of the loveseat they had in there.
He understood that support is good for her, and she had his support but with the type of headache he had he could have definitely sat this one out.

"Yes you do, you wanted me to come to this clinic on your expense, when I could have went to one my insurance covers, and I told you we could stop by McDonald's and I could have gotten you something to absorb all of that liquor in you, but you act like your too good for McDonald's now."

"I'll look like a hoe if I made you buy my food." He slouched back. As long as Karin was around his ego wouldn't let her pay for anything.

"Okay, did you not hear anything else I said?' She laughed.
"Can we talk about something else in silence ma'?" He asked as he put his hoodie on and switched his heads position from the arm of the sofa, to Karin's lap, making her thump him for his smart remark.

"Karin." The nurse called.

"Finally, it only took them like 30 minutes" He mumbled.

Once they got settled into the room, the doctor walked in.

"Okay Mom and Dad, today is an important visit. We have to take some blood tests to check for any genetic abnormalities and you have the option for whether or not you want us to check for genders.  Many offices don't do those types of tests but since we're going to already be checking for chromosomes, Why not?" The doctor explained.

Karin looked at August to see what he wanted to do since he was paying for it.

"So if we agree, how sure are you gonna be. I don't want to have to be paying for bullshit results." August said.

"August really?" Karin rolled her eyes.

"My bad, I just don't want to be wasting my money on false information." He corrected him self.

"No, I absolutely understand. Let's just say the detection of the two Y chromosomes indicate their are both boys, and X and Y are a boy and a girl, and two X's indicate girls. Our tests are accurate 98.7 percent off the time."

"Aight, what you wanna do ma'?" He asked Karin.

He wanted to make sure she was comfortable with the procedure being done before hand.

She nodded. She was really desperate about knowing the gender of her babies because she couldn't wait to buy all of the clothes for them even though they would have to wait it out for a few weeks before they started buying stuff.

"Let's do it then." He said.

The doctor nodded and went to go get her supplies.

"After you rest up, you want to do something?" Karin asked.
Karin was tired of being in the house, she needed to do something.
She was done with her online classes, she just had to wait until June to start her internship at the hospital but now that's she is due June, she had to wait another year.

"Yeah, what you got in mind?"

"Can we go Mini Golfing, or Dave and Busters?"

August laughed. "Let's do some fun shit, like crash a wedding."
