A/N: I have the flu so I feel ridiculously sleepy. I'm sorry that this chapter is a bit shorter, but hopefully if not tomorrow, the next day will be better for me to write. I honestly feel like this is nonsense. Lol. I don't even know if it makes sense, but it did in my head, so...anyway, please keep reading and tell your friends to vote. (I am drugged and shameless.)

Taeyong:

I entered the water slowly. Despite the fact that it was wonderfully cool and refreshing, I couldn't help wishing for a hot shower. When the water reached my chest I stopped and dipped my head under the water, staying below for 20 beautiful long seconds. I counted them out loud in the water where no one could hear me. Then I popped up and moved back just enough so that I could sit down and still have the water brush just under my chin. Water droplets fell into my eyes but I didn't blink them away. I took a deep breath and tried to make my mind blank. I was too tired of thinking. All I had done since we landed here was think. Of shelter. Food. How we were going to get rescued. God, I was so tired.

I closed my eyes to rest them and but all that did was bring back images of red and broken limbs and dead eyes. I opened mine quickly and focused on the water surrounding me. You couldn't really see anything in the water here. It was a murky turquoise colour that looked pretty in photos but was that was all. I wondered briefly about sharks but the thought didn't scare me enough to get me out of the water. There had to be a way to get some fishing done. I was dying for some protein. The snacks from the plane was great but there was no way it was going to keep us going for....however the fuck long we were going to be staying here. I sighed loudly and tilted my head back in the water. Pain shot through my neck and arm and a long hiss escaped my lips.

"Ah, damn it. Fucking hell..." I had forgotten I had rattled my shoulder again during the fall. At least the cold water was helping to numb it temporarily.
"Hey!" I turned in the water and watched Yuta as he made his way towards me, pausing when the water reached his knees. I hadn't even realised he'd changed into my shorts. He looked good in them.
"No signal." He told me as he kicked some water to the side in a wide arc. "This phone is useless." I chuckled and wiggled an eyebrow at him.

"I don't know. I kinda like the wallpaper." He scoffed and kicked more water; this time at me.

"That stupid photo. I can't believe Jaehyun did that." He mumbled. "Well, on the plus side, I know I have...had a fan." He stumbled over that sentence awkwardly and coughed to clear his throat.

"Are you done? I want you to show me what you found."

"Yeah, I'm done." I held up my hand silently and he reached for it to pull me out of the water. When we got back to the bundle of goodies, I grabbed a sheet to dry myself off and was about to slip my shirt back on when Yuta smacked it out of my hands.

"Leave it. Weren't you the one saying there's no one on this damn island? If you move your arm again, I'm going to strangle you with your sling." He grumbled and picked it up, tucking my arm back into it and wrapping it tighter around my neck to keep my arm closer to my chest.

"It's fine. I won't even feel it by the end of the week." He just rolled his eyes and tied off another knot. He stood back when he was done and nodded sharply.

"Yosh! Yoku dekimashita, Yuta." He said softly. I frowned.

"Huh?" He smirked and tugged me back over to the mattress.

"I just realised I haven't spoken Japanese in ages. I was feeling homesick." He said.

If he was feeling homesick, then he wouldn't have been on the plane with me, though. He would have left much earlier. Earlier than everyone else. But I didn't say anything. I just nodded and gestured for him to pull the sheet closer. The first thing that tumbled out when he opened it was the flight manual.
