young love in the rain

The droplets of water fall onto their skin

A small giggle can be heard as he spins her

It was as if there was only them in the world.

He pulls her close,

Soaking wet.

She looks at him with the softest color of sea blue.

He smiles at her,

Leaning close with both of their eyes closed.

His chapped lips embrace her smaller lips,

As if it was the last time they would meet.

She pulls away slowly, her eyes opening

She gave him a smile

Before running off and jumping into the puddles as she went

With him following her close behind.

It was as if it was only them in the world.
