clouded daydreams

The sun shines down on my skin in this field,

The warmth spreading throughout my body.

The air turns cold,

But that doesn't bother me.

The grass is getting tall,

Flowers sticking out here and there.

If I move my arms then I might end up gone.

My eyes are closed tightly,

I can feel the earth around me.

The birds are chirping,

And slowly crickets are chirping too.

Day turns into night,

Night turns into day.

I don't know the day anymore,

All i know is this field.

My skin gets wrinkly,

My hair gets long.

But all i care about is the sky above.

The sun shines down on my skin,

And i smile as the warmth touches my face.

The air turns cold once more,

But this time i'm gone for good.
