"Oh! Klara, right?" Bimbo brushes hair from her face.
Bishop's head bobs around, straightening for a second when he hears my name, and then falls back onto the couch again. His mouth is slightly open and there's nothing sexy about the state that he is in. I take notice of his hands lax at his side and the lack hardness in his pants. I brush past Bimbo and check Bishop's pulse. When I feel the fast beat I take a deep breath and slap him lightly on the cheek.
"Bishop. Hey, Bishop, wake up."
He lifts his head for a moment and drool falls out of his mouth. Ew. He's a vegetable.
"Klara, where am I?" His words slur, and I've positive that he's been drugged.
"You're home, baby. Do you remember where you are at home?"
He looks around slightly and shakes his head before letting it drop back once more. I slowly turn around to confront Bimbo, who is staring at us in confusion.
"He was drugged," I hiss and gesture behind me at the Bishop-vegetable.
Bimbo nods slowly and my fist clenches with the need to hit something.
"It would appear that way, but I swear to God I didn't know. I was told he was waiting for me in here, I didn't take a moment to realize that he wasn't..." she trails off in shock, "I would never."
"Before you tell me the whole story and tell me who told you he was waiting in here – you do know that you just did all of this without his consent, right? It really pisses me off that there's this double standard that only women can be drugged and attacked and raped. Do I think you went that far? No, but I think you went far enough. I've never wanted to hit someone so bad in my life, especially knowing that if the tables were reversed, Bishop would do the same thing for me."
I take a deep breath.
"With that being said; what the fuck happened?"
I make sure that she can see how serious I find this, and she swallows in fear.
"Seriously, I don't know," Bishop softly starts to snore from behind me and my fingers twitch. "I was just upstairs, partying. Someone came up behind me and told me that Bishop Cade was waiting for me in the guest bedroom in the basement. I walked in here and he raised his head and smirked."
She sounds unsure, and I'm sure he really just gave her a doped-up look.
"I've had a crush on him for a long time now," she looks down embarrassed. "It was actually happening, I got a little excited and may have taken it too far before even talking to him."
"Too far being?" My lip curls in anger.
"Kissing, just kissing," her eyes are wide with fear again. "I touched him a little but only his chest, I swear. Klara, I didn't know."
I force myself to not react. I just need to know who sabotaged Bishop.
"Well, my guess is whoever told you to come down here, is who drugged him. So, who was it? Think hard."
She looks extremely unsure. "Honestly, the only thing I thought was that it was one of the boys from the team. I couldn't tell you who without assuming."
I roll my eyes. "Just assume. Throw a couple of names out. Anything."
She shakes her head and sits on the couch next to Bishop's passed out form. My throat clogs with anger; all I want is to get her far away from him. But I wait and let her think.
"Maybe Ben or Brandon. I know they have beef with him. It sounded more like Brandon though."
I fucking knew it.
