Klara POV
The Warriors cheer and make rude gestures to Springfield. My beautiful man won 25-8.
Climbing over the short bar, I hop down from the stands and skip over to where Bishop is lifted and prodded. I join in on cheering on the captain.
His eyes meet mine and a try to pour the amount of pride I have for him into my gaze. His eyes turn hot and he tells them to put him down. He's ignored at first but Xavier, of all people, shouts at them.
"Yo, put em down! Let him see his girl!"
I look at him dumbfounded. Bishop's arms wrap around me, distracting me for the moment. I wrap my arms around his neck and slap a kiss onto his lips.
He hums, "I'm ready for my prize."
I throw my back in laughter, "I'm sure you are."
He sinks his teeth into my throat, biting gently. My legs buckle. Damn it. Damn my kinks.
Bishop smirks knowingly.
"Drinks on me!" Brandon yells, most likely wanting some attention.
It works. The men cheer and follow him to the change rooms.
"I'm going to shower real quick, do you mind waiting?" Bishop asks.
I shake my head, "Of course not. Go, you stink."
He laughs at my teasing and runs to catch up with his team.
"Wow," a familiar voice sounds amazed from behind me.
I turn and see a different version of Emma. Her once natural red long hair is now cut to her shoulders. Her face adorns less makeup than it once did. Honestly, she looks a little tired.
"Emma," I breathe.
I'm not sure how to react. We left on such weird terms. She broke my trust. And I almost got raped. She didn't reach out to me, nor I her.
"You look great, Klara. And you managed to score Bishop," she shakes her head disbelievingly.
I'm slightly offended by her shock, even though I shouldn't be. I'm shocked every day still. But she had always been the one to tell me it was possible. That Bishop could love me one day.
I cross my arms to protect myself, "Yeah. I'm real lucky."
"Does he know about what Brandon did?" She asks shyly.
I nod. My defences are sky high. My suspicion matches it.
We stare at each other for a few more minutes until she finally breaks.
"Why is he with you?" Her face scrunches in offensive confusion, "Like, are you being careful? I just don't want you to get hurt."
I take a couple of steps closer to her, trying to convey that she can't get to me. But secretly, it's so no one will hear her tear me down.
Opening my mouth, I get ready to bitch her out. But, she's off again.
"I mean, he's Bishop Cade. The man we fantasized about for years," I scoff at that. Yeah, the man she secretly lusted after. "And you're, you know, special in your own way, but...Bishop Cade."
Everything she's saying is right. And it makes it hurt so much more.
"You called?" Bishop approaches from behind me.
His voice is hard. I'm not sure how much he heard. I feel his arms wrap around me right under my breasts and squeezes me against him. My hands instinctively reach up to clutch his arms. Hi mouth presses against my neck and breathes in my ear.
