"Did you guys get back together" the detective asked now intrigued about the story. She wants to hear the end.

"Just let me finish. So me and Regina broke up. I spilled my guts to Rudy and then we all went clubbing to get my mind of it. Anyway I saw Regina a week later. I was out on my run through the woods..." Emma starts.

As I was running I saw Regina in the distance arguing with a man. I've never seen him before but he looks a bit like Henry. Although Henry looks a lot like Regina he still looks a bit like this man. This must be robin. Henry's father and Regina's ex. I still can't believe she's 25 and had this many serious relationships. Anyway I stopped and looked over since they both seemed really angry. I walked a little closer to hear.

"Just leave me alone robin god dammit" Regina snapped.

Robin frowned hard and slapped her around the face. She stumbled a little and looked scared. My mouth dropped and I wanted to run over but I can't be seen.

"Don't you dare talk to me like that! You think Jefferson is bad for raping you but I can hurt you in an even worse way than he ever could" robin threatens.

Regina stood up straight and stepped backwards a little.

"I hate you. Your never seeing Henry and I want you to stay away from me. You realise I shut everyone out because of you. I lost someone I love because of you. My son is dying because of you"

"Don't you DARE BLAME ME FOR HENRY" he snapped.

"IT IS YOUR FAULT! YOU HAVE A KIDNEY HE CAN HAVE BUT YOU WONT GIVE IT TO HIM BECAUSE YOUR SCARED" Regina snapped back.

I moved a little closer to hear better. I'm being careful not to get caught.

"There are plenty of donors"

"None that match him. Just keep the hell away from me. You've been here two weeks and I've already grown so much hatred for you" Regina says looking upset.

"Or what? What you going to do about it? Your a tiny mayor who is in heels" he laughed.

Regina pushed him backwards annoyed. He looked at her angry and punched her hard in the face. She fell to the floor. He grabbed her by the hair and lifted her up enough to punch her in the stomach. He then dropped her. I went over and stood behind him. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around.

"What" he asked.

I frowned and punched him hard. He stumbled back and looked shocked. He then ran away quickly. I held my hand out to Regina and held her up.

"Are you ok" I asked wiping the little bit of blood from under her nose.

"Yeah. Thank you" she says looking down.

"Why don't you ever stand up for yourself? First Jefferson. Now robin" I asked softly.

"Don't worry about it. I have a crazy messed up life. I have to go" she says before walking away.

"Bye" I shout as she walked away.

I sighed and carried on running. As I was running I saw robin with his head back and holding his nose. He probably has a nose bleed from my punch. I went over and he looked at me. She moved backwards and frowned at me holding his nose still.

"What do you want now" he asked annoyed.

"Nothing. Don't ever hurt Regina like that again though" I sternly say.

"Don't tell me what to do. I know your the deputy Sheriff but you don't scare me" he says getting into my face.

I rolled my eyes at how childish he is and walked away.

"Your a child. Learn how to treat a girl" I say before continuing my run.

I stopped after half hour. I took my phone out and messaged Regina.

Me: are you ok xx

She texted back instantly.

Regina: yeah

Me: I'm just trying to be nice and check on you xx

Regina: thanks

Me: your so not worth it anymore

I put my phone down and started running home. I was thinking. Regina said 2 weeks he's been here. The week we broke up Regina kept acting weird and extra shielded. Maybe it was because of robin. When I saw through her bathroom window she must have been looking at a bruise. The day we broke up she was crying and locked in her office. This is all because of robin.

"Holy shit" I say shocked. I stopped running and figured everything out. "That fucking bastard"

I began to run to Regina's house. I ran as fast as I could to get there. I knocked on her front door. After a few seconds it opened.

"Yeah" she sighed.

"What has robin done to you? Regina let me help" I say softly.

"Why don't you ever give up? I don't need your help" Regina replied annoyed.

"I watched you let him hit you"

"So what? I can do what I want" she cuts me off.

"So your happy to let him cover you in bruises huh? Are you insane"

"Call me that again. See what happens" Regina frowned getting in my face.

"Or what? Your gonna punch me and then wait for me to hit you back" I say getting in her face.

"Shut up" she growled.

"Again. Or what" I say annoyed.

I pushed her shoulder gently to try getting her to talk. She hit my hand away annoyed.

"Stop it" she says. I pushed her again and she moved my hand. "I said stop it" she says upset.

"Isn't this how it works? I keep hitting you and you just let me" I say pushing her shoulder.

"Stop" she says with tears in her eyes. I pushed her again and she slapped my hand hard away. "I told you to stop"

"No. I'm gonna do what I want and your just let me because this is how it works isn't it" I say pushing both her shoulders.

"Stop that" she says. She started crying and looking down. "stop" she sobbed. "I want it to stop so bad. I want him to stop" she says crying  in her hands.

"Good" I say pulling her into a hug. "We're gonna get that mother fucker" I held her close and kissed the top of her head to sooth her.

"I want him to stop so bad. I hate this" she sobbed holding me close. "Please make it stop"

"I don't understand" the detective says.

"Understand what" Emma questioned.

"Why did you keep pushing her until she cried" she asked.

"Because Regina wasn't going to talk to me so I pushed her buttons to get her to admit it"

"Ow so you did it to get it out of her"

"Yes" Emma admits.

"And this all actually happened to her? This was her life? That poor girl"

"Yeah" Emma says hesitantly while looking down. "And it never got better"
