The death of the broken record

[ narrators pro ]
"Awe your now engaged" the detective says to into the story. "I mean. Did you say the girls name was Hallie" she asked sitting up.

"Yeah. Hallie mills" Emma replied.

"So where are we now in the story"

"6 months later. We found out Mia was a match for Henry so she donated one of her kidneys to him. The surgery went well and there both other. Now its our wedding day"

[ Emma's pro ]
I woke up in my old bed at the girls house. I smiled knowing what day it is. Dani and Mia went to stay at Regina's to help her get ready. Rudy and Jessy stayed with me. As I sat up my door flew open. I looked over to see Jessy running over to me. She jumped into the bed making me laugh.

"Morning soon to be Mrs swan mills" Jessy says excitedly.

"I don't know who's more excited for this wedding Jessy or Emma" Rudy says walking in.

"I think it might be Jessy" I replied with a chuckle.

We laughed and I rapped my arms around Jessy. I kissed her head as Rudy sat down. I pulled her into the hug.

"How the fuck are you getting married today? The old you would have gotten rid of Regina the first time you guys broke up" Rudy says pulling away from us.

"If you told the old me that I would be marrying the woman I love and have kids at 26 I would have laughed you out of it. Let's get downstairs and eat" I say with a chuckle.

We stood up and walked down the stairs. We went to the kitchen and Jessy made breakfast. While it was cooking Rudy poured us a glass of champagne each. Jessy held hers up and smiled at us.

"To Emma. The first of all of us to be in a serious relationship let alone get married" she says smirking at me.

"Well as all of us always say" I start.

"May we never go to hell but always be on our way" we say at the same time before laughing.

That was our saying. If we were doing something that we thought was crazy or reckless or slightly unlike us we would say it.

"Cheers" Rudy finished before we clinked our glasses together.

"Alright. Let's eat" Jessy says as she plated up our food.

I drunk the champagne and sat down. Rudy sat next to me and Jessy came to sit the other side with the food.

"Is this an English breakfast" I asked with a smirk.

"Yeah. I remember when we went to that restaurant and you tried it for the first time" Jessy says smiling.

"Do you guys remember when we first met" I say laughing.

"Yeah. Believe it or not Jessy was actually smaller back then" Rudy laughed making me laugh.

"Hey I'm not that short" she pouts making us laugh more.

"You were so free spirited em. Your plan was to concur the world. We moved here and you dated the mayor" Rudy says as she put her fork in her mouth.

"Do you think I'm making a mistake? I changed my whole life for this woman. All my plans. I was going to travel the world" I asked thinking about what Rudy said.

"Your not making a mistake. The mistake would be turning your back on love. You've brought Regina so far. Don't leave her now" Jessy says holding my hand.

"She's right" Rudy adds. "You, your wife, your son and your daughter can all travel together"

"I think that's a pretty good idea. Regina has always loved the idea of traveling. Maybe she can travel and still be mayor" I say smiling brightly.

"Don't back out on this Emma. Regina will make you happy" Jessy says with a smile.

[ narrators pro ]
"You really loved her didn't you" the detective softly asked.

She saw Emma was breaking down a bit now. She had tears slipping out her eyes but she only wiped a few away. She took a deep breath and nodded.

"Yeah. Like I said I changed everything for her. Regina died too young and too soon" Emma says looking down.

"I am going to have to ask you to continue please but I can give you five minutes to take a break" she asked knowing Emma is coming near the end of her story.

Through out the whole relationship Emma had been helping Regina. She didn't realise it for awhile that Regina stopped being a closed book and opened herself up. She expressed her feelings and was happy. She had no one bad in her life. She only had henry, Emma and Hallie. That's all she wanted. This soon changed but for that time Regina was the happiest she had been her entire life.

"I'm ready" Emma says taking a breath.

[ Emma's pro ]
"Shall we go get dressed them" I say standing up.

The girls smiled and stood up. We left our plates and went upstairs. I was getting dressed in the bathroom while the girls waited on my bed. I left the room and they both looked up.

"Whoa" they say together. There mouths hanging low. "You look awesome" they say again at the same time.

"Thanks" I smiled looking down at my suit.

"Actually..." Jessy says standing up. She came over and fixed my tie into place. "Now you look perfect" she smiled.

"Thank you Jessy. I can always rely on you" I say with a soft smile.

"Ow your gonna make me cry" she says hugging me. I laughed and hugged her back. "I love you em"

"I love you too girl. Both of you" I say holding my arm out to Rudy. She stood up and hugged me. "Friends forever" I say smiling.

We then heard Rudy get a text. While she went to her phone I sat at the dressing table. Jessy started doing my hair while I done subtle makeup.

"Holy shit" Rudy says shocked.

We both looked round confused at her.

"What's wrong" I asked.

"I don't know how to tell you this... Hallie and Henry are ok but... umm" Rudy mumbled.

"But what" I asked worried now.

"Regina's gone missing"
