"Before you continue I want to ask you something. Why did you keep going back to Regina if she treated you badly" the detective asked.

"She didn't treat me badly. She was scared and blocked herself away from people" Emma replied.

"So why did you let her"

"Because I was in love. She was my true love"

"I understand. I'm a sucker for my husband but he is for me so it works out" she laughed. "Anyway please continue"

"Right. A year passed and the only thing important to this that we did was get robin out of town" Emma continued.

"How"

"Graham quit his job to move out of town so I became sheriff and made him leave"

"Fair enough. Continue"

"So as I said. We are now a year later"

[ Emma's pro ]
I woke up in mine and Regina's bed. We have moved in together now. Regina wasn't there. Today is my day off but Regina is working and Henry has school. I got dressed and drove down to my old house. All the girls still live there and another girl who is one of our friends. Her name is penny. I unlocked the door since I still have my key.

"Hey girls" I shout into the house.

I went to the lounge and saw Rudy and penny sat there.

"Hey beautiful" Rudy says smiling.

I smiled back and waved to all of them. I then felt someone jump onto my back. I looked to see Jessy laughing. She wrapped her arms and legs around me to keep herself up.

"Hiya" she laughed.

"Hi. So what we all doing today" I asked.

"Well Mia and Dani are working" Jessy says.

"And I got work in a few hours" penny adds.

"How about we go out and look for engagement rings em" Rudy says smirking at me.

"Ow yeah you said you were going to propose" Jessy says jumping of my back.

"Yeah. Screw it let's go ring shopping" I say smiling.

Rudy and penny stood up. They came over to me and we all walked to the door. Rudy drove and we all went this shop just outside town.

"Hey what about this one" penny suggests.

"No. Too in your face"

"What about that one" Jessy points at.

"I want to marry the mayor. I need something more elegant"

"This one" Rudy points at.

"That one is cute" I smiled. "It's really expensive though" I sighed sadly.

"I'll help pay" we heard behind us.

Everyone looked round and saw Dani and Mia walking over. We all looked confused as to why there here but hugged them anyway.

"How come your here" I asked.

"I got off work early and penny said you were here. I'll help you pay for the ring em" dani says smiled.

"Me too" Mia added.

"I can't ask you to do that" I say shocked.

"I want to as well" Jessy says.

"And me" penny adds.

"Me as well. Let us all help" Rudy says putting her arm around me.

"I love you guys" I say smiling brightly.

They all hugged me and I held them tight. After I brought the ring and we left. We all went back to there house and had a girls afternoon.

"This is actually so beautiful" I say looking at it. We're all in the kitchen with a beer. "She'll love it" I say putting it in my pocket.

"Anyone needs another beer" Rudy asks at the fridge.

"Yeah" Jessy replied.

"Me too" penny adds.

Rudy passed them a bottle each and they opened it.

"When are you going to do it" Jessy asked.

"I don't know. I don't ever know how I'm going to" I shrug.

"You should do it in your room" penny suggests.

"Why" Rudy questioned.

"Because that's where they have the most love" she smirked.

"Yeah but I could say that about the whole house" I say sipping the beer. They all laughed which made me laugh. I looked at the time and saw Regina would be finishing work soon. "I gotta go. I'll walk and leave my car here. See ya girls" I say as I put my beers down.

"I'm not working till late tomorrow so I'll be here" dani says smiling.

"Cheers girl. See ya all later" I say before walking out the room.

I put my car keys into a bowl that everyone puts there keys in and left the house. I walked home thinking about how I can propose to Regina. When I got home I saw Regina's car was already there. I unlocked the door and looked around the room.

"Gina" I say walking to the kitchen. Regina looked over her shoulder at me and smiled. She was washing up. "What you doing home so early" I ask walking over to her.

"It's normal time sweetie" she laughed as I kissed her neck.

"Ow yeah. I forgot I walked" I laughed making her laugh.

"You are strange" she laughed.

"Where's henry" I asked.

"In his room. I'm cooking chicken korma for dinner" she says as she dried her hands. She turned around and pecked my lips. "Do you want pita bread"

"Of course" I smiled as I hugged her.

"What are you after" she asked curiously smirking.

"What do you mean" I asked with a little laughter.

"Your extra lovey today. Why" she smirked.

"Cause I love you" I smiled.

"I'm not buying it but alright. I love you too" she smiled before pecking my lips.

Henry came into the room. I smiled at him and he ran over to hug me. I picked him up and kissed his little nose.

"How are you feeling today" I asked.

"My kidney hurts" he pouts.

"It will be ok. I promise" I smiled before kissing his head. He smiled and nuzzled his nose against mine. "I love you henry" I smiled.

"I love you too Emma" he smiled.

I held him close to my chest and he hugged me back. I saw Regina smiling at us before she started making dinner.

"Shall we go watch tom and Jerry" I asked. Henry smiled brightly and nodded. "Come on then"

I walked into the lounge holding him on my hip still. I sat on the sofa and started watching cartoons with him.
