"Hey dad?" Luna rested her head on the kitchen table as I tried finishing a few wedding plans.
"Yeah, sweetie?" I mumbled.
"Is daddy coming to your wedding?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because daddy and I aren't friends nor family. Only friends and family are invited."
"But he's my family, dad."
"Honey–"
"Please, dad!" she begged.
"What's going on?" Dylan asked. He walked through the front door with Piper by his side.
"Wedding stuff." He smiled as he gave me a quick kiss. "Hi, by the way," I beamed.
"Hi," he chuckled. "And what about wedding stuff? I thought a majority was already done?"
"Luna wants someone else to come to the wedding."
"Oh... who do you want to come, sweetie?"
"Daddy..."
"Dad–Daddy? Do you mean Phil?" Luna nodded. "Well, I, uh... I don't see why he can't come..."
"Dylan–"
"It's fine, I'll email him later. So how was your day, sweet pea?"
"It was good. Miss Scott was absent so we had a substitute for the day. We watched a movie."
"Oh yeah? What movie?"
"Sound of Music."
"Cool," Dylan nodded. "What does everyone want for dinner?"
"Chicken and pasta," the girls nearly said simultaneously.
"I'll get right on it," Dylan smiled. "Both of you start your homework."
"Yes, papa," they replied. They both ran off to the lounge to help each other out with their work. I was so incredibly pleased that they got along—of course they fought every once in a while, but what sisters don't.
"Hey." Dylan scratched the top of my head a few times to get my attention—I leaned my head back and grinned. "Nicole's appointment is tomorrow at noon. Please don't forget."
"You get caught up scrubbing into surgery one time and it haunts you for the rest of your life," I teased. "I'll be there."
"Thank you."
"Also, why in the hell–"
"Office, now."I rolled my eyes and got up from my seat. I followed Dylan into our office space and leaned against the closed door. I crossed my arms and raised a brow at my amazing man.
"Phil? Really?" I asked.
"What was I supposed to say?"
"How about no?"
"I'm not going to do that to her."
"Dylan, I just..." I let out a frustrated huff. "I don't want him there."
"Dan, I know you guys were engaged and have this long ass history, but guess what it is? History. You can hate him all you want, but to Luna... that's still her father. If she wants him there, he's coming."I felt tears prickle at my eyes as I shook my head. I pursed my lips and eventually broke down.
"I don't deserve you," I sobbed. I pulled him into a hug and cried into the crook of his neck.
"Don't say that," he whispered.
"No, I really don't."
"Yes..." He pulled out of the hug and held my face in his hands. "You do."
"I did something bad," I uttered.
"What? What'd you do?"
"I kissed Phil..."
"When?" he sighed.
"Yesterday..."
"Did anything else happen?"
"We almost had sex... b-but we didn't.
"How do I know you didn't?"
"You can call him if you want... he saw my tattoo and stopped. He felt too bad."
"Why weren't you the one to stop."
"I tried, but–"
"Was this a one time thing?"
"Yes! Yes, of course! I love you. I love our children. I love you all so much. I would never intentionally hurt you guys."
"It's not going to happen again?" I shook my head. "Good." He kissed me softly. "I love you."
"You're too good to me," I whispered.
"I know," he teased. "Give me Phil's email so I can send him an invite, okay?"
"Okay," I smiled.
"So you got a tattoo?"
"Yeah," I chuckled, "I was gonna surprise you."
"Why haven't I seen it yet?"
"Cause it's on my ribs. And you haven't seen me shirtless since we're waiting."
"Why'd we agree to do that again?"
"Something about making the sex better," I laughed. "I honestly have no idea."
"Well, I can't wait to see it."
"I'll actually be adding to it soon..."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah..."
"Can't wait."***

Dan: elaborate
Phil: he wants me at the wedding???

Phil: bye.
Phil: also can I FT you around 8?
