Harper's POV

Oliver rushes behind me not caring that it's the girl's bathroom until I lock the stall. I don't stop throwing up for what seems like an hour but what was actually 3 minutes, which is weird because I hardly have anything in my stomach. I wipe my mouth with my arm and something catches my eye.

Where I wiped my mouth off is smeared with blood. Looking down at the toilet my eyes go wide. There's the little bit of food I ate and then blood. A lot of blood.

"Everything okay in there?" Oliver asks.

I can't speak. What I see shocks me.

"Harper?" Oliver asks.

Not saying anything I unlock the stall door and Oliver looks at me then looks at the toilet.

 I look away.

I hear Oliver's phone camera go off and then he picks me up.

"I'm taking you to the lab." is the last thing before I pass out.

Oliver's POV

When Harper opens the stall door I'm shocked. She threw up very little food and mostly blood. She doesn't say anything and her face looks very pale. I take a photo of it and send to Barry and Caitlin telling them that we are on our way to the lab.

I tell Harper but I don't know if she heard me because by the time I finish my sentence she is out. I pick her up and carry her out of Big Belly Burger earning some weird looks but I rush out and drive to the lab as fast as I can without causing too much attention to myself.

We arrive to the lab and Harper is still out, I bring here in where Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, and wells is.

Harper's POV

It's the night my already screwed up life became more screwed up. I had only been friends with Abby for a few weeks and she invited me to her house to spend the night. Her brother was having a party that she acted like she had no idea about.

It was okay at first but then a group started to form in the living-room. I follow the crowd, they easily let me slip up to the front of the group laughing. At the front is some photo's of my family and some of my mom and dad.

"You see guys, her father killed her mother, her brother thinks a man in yellow killed his mom and that 'ol Henry is innocent so she must be some kind of freak show." Abby says looking at me.

I look at her confused. This is like some cliche highschool shit when they invite the "outcast" to a party just to make fun of them. So why the hell is it happening to me.

No one ever really brought up the fact that my dad was convicted of killing my mother to me because that just isn't something you talk about with someone. I mean there's been a some conversation between Barry and I but besides that no one has talked about it around me.

Everyone looks at me and laughs. I rush out of the house and down the street until I am back at home.

No one is here so I get changed to go on a run just to clear my head. I get to the park when I sit down on a bench and look up at the stars. After a few moments a redish color takes over. I stand up and try to outrun it but I fail.

I wake up 8 hours later in the park lying on the grass. I feel different but ignore it walking back to my house where caption Singh is waiting in a police cruiser.

I approach the house and officer singh gets out of his car. His eyes give it away, something is wrong.

"Harper." He says softly.

"It's Barry isn't it?" I ask stopping in my tracks. I feel a pit in my stomach.

"There was an incident. Barry was struck by a rod of lightning." He says.

"Is he de-"

"He is critical. He's at the hospital, Joe and Iris are there. I came down here to pick you up." He says moving towards me

My eyes start to open and adjust to the lighting. I look around the room to see Barry sitting 3 feet away from me sleeping. The digital clock above the door says its 3:12 am.

I shuffle around in the bed I'm laying in. I realize that I am in the lab.

"Barry?" I asks.

He immediatley jolts up. "Harper?"

"What happened?" I asked noticing a bandage on my stomach.

"Caitlin had to open you up to see what's wrong."

They probably didn't see anything. "so what's wrong?"

"Well Caitlin said that your stomach lining was very pink, almost as if it had recently healed but she saw nothing wrong."

"Oh."

"But something is obviously wrong with you if you puked that much blood." He replies sitting on the edge of the bed.

I nod in response.

"And I was talking to Oliver-"

I knew I shouldn't of said anything to Oliver. It's almost like he tries to hsve me trust him just so he can go and tell Barry everything that is wrong with me. "And let me guess he told you about how I left Abby's that night.

"He told me that you hardl- wait what?"

Seriously? "Uh never mind."

"You left Abby's that night? Where you in Central City? Were you here when the partical accelorator exploded? Why didn't you tell anyone?  Were you effected? Why did you even leave Abby's.

I sigh. "Why I left Abby's is not important. I did comeback to Central City that night. I didn't tell anyone because that wasn't what I was worried about right then. When I arrived home and saw that no one was home I decided to go for a run. I was in the park and the last thing that I remember is trying not to black out from the amount of fear that consumed over me. I ending up passing out but I don't think that it was from the fear. I woke up the next morning at the park and walked home where captian Singh was."

"Okay, and were you effected?"

Uh, yes." I reply realizing that it's to late to back out now.

"How?"

"I heal, really fast, my pain tolerance is extremely high. I can hear things from far away and I can hear what people are thinking."

"Okay but you weren't doing anything that had to do with any of those thing were you?"

"No not that I remember."

"Okay then what am I thinking right now?" He asks.

"Seriously?"

"Come on what am I thinking?"

"That you're just happy I'm safe."

He looks at me and nods.

"You're not mad?" I ask confused.

I'm disapointed that you never told anyone but I can't be mad at you over something that you didn't have any control over." He replies.
