Okay, this one is Fiona, and yes, it's in present 2018. We're not 100% certain that Fiona is dead, so just enjoy! PS, Ransom better make her alive in the next book!! I am dying for more Fugh!

Also, this chapter is mostly about Fiona, but I'm adding in Hugh's chapter with her's, because they're together, and I feel that their stories go well together. Okay, I'll be quiet! Enjoy!

"Hello, everyone! We're doing another back story video, this time on Fiona. Since she doesn't talk much, only to Hugh, he's going to be talking for her." Millard says, motioning to Hugh and Fiona sitting on the sofa in front of the camera.

"Hello." Hugh says, smiling at Fiona. He pecks her on the lips, then Fiona smiles sweetly at the camera. Fiona leans over to Hugh's ear, whispering into it.

"Okay, so Fiona says that she's ready to tell you all her back story. You may have read this when we were on the train in the second book, but whatever! She's going to tell it in more detail. Anyway, I'll start."

Fiona found out about her peculiarity when she was eleven. She was living in a famine, so she would grow food for her village so that everyone in her village could survive. Fiona didn't really realize that there was something different about her; she thought that she was just very, very good at gardening. Better than most people. So, anyway, one day when she was elven, she was standing in her backyard garden, growing some veggies. She finished, plucked the food from the garden, then walked over to the trees, and grew some apples, peaches, and plums on it.

She climbed up the tree, not knowing that she could use her peculiarity to make a branch come down and lift her up. Anyway, the tree was really tall, and as she was climbing it, her boot slipped from the tree, and she went tumbling eight feet to the ground.

Fiona knocked her head on the ground, and she got knocked out, though her head wasn't really hurt. She woke up a few moments later to someone shaking her awake. It was her neighbor, Samantha, and she was staring down at Fiona.

"Hello? Fiona?" Samantha said, scrunching her eyebrows together.

"Yeah?" Fiona asked, and Samantha pulled her up to a sitting position.

"Yes, I know, Fiona doesn't talk now, but she did at the time." Hugh says, then goes back to the story.

"What happened?" Samantha asked Fiona, and she rubbed her head slightly.

"I fell when picking fruit." Fiona said, climbing up from the ground and walking closer to the tree, bending down and picking up the basket she'd been using, picking up the fruit off the ground that she had dropped and placing it into the basket once again.

"Oh. You're okay, I think." Samantha said, and Fiona nodded, placing a peach in the basket.

"I am." Fiona said, as Samantha hadn't seen her nod.

"Okay. How are you growing food like this?" She asked, and Fiona knit her eyebrows together, setting the basket down and turning to Samantha.

"I'm just growing food and working out of the compassion of my heart. I don't want people to die of starvation." Fiona said, speaking truthfully.

"No, not that. I mean, how are you growing it?" Samantha asked, and Fiona shook her head.

"I don't understand. I told you, I grow food out of the kindness of my heart, and with my hands. Nothing but my hands and my heart." Fiona said, and Samantha laughed. "What?" Fiona asked.

"You think you're normal, don't you?" Samantha asked snarkily.

"What'd you mean?" Fiona asked, her Irish accent coating her words.

"You're not normal. You know that, don't you? Normal people don't just grow things like this. They have to get seeds, plant the seeds, water them, wait for months for the plants to grow fully, then harvest them. They can't just make plants appears out of the ground like you do. It's not that simple."

"Huh?" Is all Fiona said, dropping the plum in her hand.

"You're not normal, you idiot! You're different than everyone else in the world. Your parents never had the heart to tell you. You have to leave. You don't belong here. Go live in a place with all the other weirdos in the world. Goodbye, Fiona Frauenfeld." Samantha said with an edge to her voice, watching as Fiona's eyes well up with tears, then sprint away from the yard. Samantha started laughing, and Fiona ran as fast as she could, wanting to escape Samantha's snarky words and menacing laughs.

Fiona ran for a long time, until the village that she lived in was just a small speck behind her. She would've kept running, too, if it hadn't been for her boot slipping in a mud puddle beside a field of flowers. She fell to the ground, huffing and puffing from the long, long run. She sat there, in the mud puddle, for a few moments, catching her breath. After those few moments, she heard a English boy's voice behind her.

"Hello? Are you okay? You're aware that you're sitting in mud, aren't you?" He asked, and Fiona lost it.

"Of course I'm aware of that! I'm not an idiot!" Fiona yelled, tears beginning to stream down her face once again.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you... are you sure you're okay?" The boy asked, walking up to Fiona. She could now see him, and she realized that the boy was very, very cute. Well, in her opinion. Fiona knew that she liked him, and she started sniffling, trying to stop crying.

"I'm... I'm... I'm... just upset. I ran away. I'm different than everyone else! I can grow things with my hands, and normal people can't do that!" She said, and the boy grimaced. He stood silently for a moment, then spoke up quietly.

"You're different too?" He said slightly above a whisper, and Fiona's tears stopped.

"You are too?" Is all she said, and the boy nodded slightly.

"I have bees living inside of me." The boy said, and Fiona looked up at him, and he held out a hand for her.

"So... where do you live?" Fiona asked as she stood up straight, looking down at her muddy outfit.

"I... just found out about this. I've been in love with honey since I was six. I ate honey all the time. When I was ten, I started eating honey combs. My parents had no idea what was going on. They just let me do it. Anyway, about a month ago, bees started flying up to me, and when I was asleep, I could feel them inside me. Sounds creepy, but it's really not. I just found out a few minutes ago that I actually had them living inside me. So, I ran away here. Just like you." He said, and Fiona smiled.

"That's... actually really cool." She said, smiling sweetly.

"Yeah, thanks. You too. My name's Hugh, by the way. What's yours?" He asked, and she answered him.

"I'm Fiona."

"Nice to meet you, Fiona."

"Nice to meet you too, Hugh." Fiona said, and the two smiled, and she grabbed Hugh's hand, him being the only one that she could talk to.

"So, after that, Fiona and I stayed the night in the flower field. She made a little shelter from trees and things, and we slept in the shelter, in the cocoon of the shelter. It was beautiful. The next morning, Miss Peregrine came and picked us up, bringing us to the home. We stayed there ever since, and Fiona has told me, and I agree, that this place is the best that we've ever lived in. We get to live together with the best friends we've ever had, and friends that are like us, too. So, yeah. That's Fiona and I's back stories. I hope you enjoyed it, and please like, comment, subscribe, and vote. Bye!" Hugh said, and Fiona waved. He kissed her on the tip of her nose, and her cheeks flared up. She smiled, and then waved once again, and Millard shut the camera off.

I hope you enjoyed this one! This is actually probably my favorite, both to read and write. I hope you liked it as much as I did! Thanks for reading! Bye :)
