"Hello, everyone! It's me, Bronwyn, and I'm on my family and I's channel, The Peculiar Children. Today I'm going to be telling me and Victor's back story. Since Victor's..." Bronwyn sniffs slightly, "...not with us anymore, I'm going to be telling you his backstory along with mine. Like how Hugh told Fiona and his backstory together cause it was just easier that way." Bronwyn says, then places her hands folded in her lap, ready for "story time."

I was six when I found out about my peculiarity, and Victor was seven, as he's a year older than me. We were playing outside with our friends; me and Sally and Hanna jump roping and playing with sidewalk chalk, and Victor and Thomas and Leo climbing trees and making mud pies. Sally fell down while jump roping, tripping on the rope. She scraped her knee and tears were welling up in her eyes. I grabbed her arms and pulled her up lightly, thinking that it would be hard because she's Victor's age, a year older than me. No, though. It was quite easy. The tiny effort I put into picking Sally up sent her flying upwards, literally above my head.

"I caught her real quick, don't worry."

I put her down, and both of our eyes were wide with curiosity, and possibly fear. I mean, I basically had just thrown her up into the air. So anyway, Victor and his friends had been watching the whole time, and so had Hanna, obviously. Sally and I turned to them, and Victor started clapping.

"That was amazing, sis!" He cried, then fist bumped his friend. Of course, him having super strength, he basically sprained his Leo's hand.

"Victor!" Leo cried, looking at his hand and wincing. I ran over to Victor, hugging him tightly, not knowing what was going on.

"What's happening?" I whispered to Victor.

"I think... we're special. Really strong." He whispered. I didn't really want to believe it, but I nodded, pulling away from him.

"We think we're super strong, and that we got super strength." I said, and all the kid's eyes widened, shining with curiosity.

"Yep. We're gonna test it, too. Bronwyn is going to try to pick up Hanna and Sally at the same time, and I'm going to try and pick up Leo and Thomas. If we can do that, I think we got super strength, cause regular kids our age can't do that, can they?" Victor said, and everyone shook their heads. "Okay, let's test it."

I walked back to my friends, then grabbed each of their arms, using only one hand per friend. I summoned my strength, then lifted both of them, at the same time, with ease.

"It was astounding. I looked over to Victor, and he was doing the same thing." Bronwyn says wishfully, then goes back to the story.

So basically, we found out that we were peculiar then. Victor and I decided that we were just going to keep it a secret and be careful with it, not even telling our parents. We made our friends promise the same thing, and they obliged. Our friends left to go home, and Victor and I ran inside for dinner. We ate quickly, then hurried off to bed, since we were pretty little.

At about midnight that night, I heard my bedroom door open in my sleep, and I stirred awake. Victor was standing there, with an old woman dressed in all black standing next to him. If Victor hadn't been standing there beside the woman, I probably would've screamed bloody murder, since I didn't know her.

Anyway, the woman and Victor explained to me that we were special, as we had predicted, and that people wanted our powers. Bad people. We were called peculiars, and we lived in these things called time loops, where, basically, the bad people couldn't reach us. Victor was going to live with her, and I should too. Since Victor was going, I said that I would, too.

The lady told me to pack my things, and Victor ran off to his room to do the same, both of us doing so silently, as to not wake our parents. I packed my things, then met Victor in the hall, the lady, who had introduced herself as Miss Peregrine, standing there as well.

We left our house quietly, then followed Miss Peregrine all the way to a ferry that would take us to a small island called Cairnholm. We took the ferry there, then got off and went up a mountain in the dark and mud and rain, then made it to a scary cave thing, which was called a cairn, I guess. We went through there and were met with a beautiful, sunny day with a sweet aroma that was the time loop. We ran inside the house, Miss Peregrine telling us which room was our's, and then we went down to supper, where we met our new "brothers and sisters."

"I thought that it was odd to call them our family right away, but now I get it. The other peculiars and I really are family, even if all of my other family is gone. I like to think about that. I do every day, really. Claire and Olive are like my little sisters, Emma is my bestie and a lot like my sister, Fiona, the same, and all the others are my brothers, whether they be older or younger than me. And of course, Miss Peregrine is my mom. So, yeah. I hope you enjoyed my back story." Bronwyn says, smiling.

"Thanks for watching! Like, comment, subscribe, and vote! Come back next time!" Millard says, then shuts off the camera to Bronwyn waving gleefully.
