The Princes

Auditions!

Makoto Pov:

Oh God! What have I got my self into. I'm really not ready for this but there's no turning back now. I've already signed my name on the audition list and practiced the lines I need.

"Hey Makoto, goodluck!" Nagisa yells, walking out the hall and disturbing my thoughts. "You know what they say best till last, anyway I'll be outside with the others but go break a leg," he added.

"Huh, break a leg? What no why would I do that!" I was so confused by what he meant.

"It's a figurative speech people use before somebody goes and performs. It's like an encouragement but I don't really know what it's supposed to mean or why they say it." Nagisa explained.

"Makoto Tachibana." A teacher called.

"See ya!" Nagisa shouts and waves goodbye, joining the others outside.

1,2,3 , 1,2,3 I muttered in my head trying to get rid of my nerves. It didn't really work though and I was even more petrified when I saw the 4 teachers and the 2 principles glaring at me.

"Start whenever your ready," Mr Yamamoto said.

"Umm! F....fa...father I..I don't think I...I'm read..y to be king. I'm not strong, br...brave or confident at talking and stu...ff like you are. " I stuttered.  The teachers all looked at me and then one said "Thank you Tachibana, you may leave now."

I left the hall with my head hung low, I knew I had completely failed that. Even the thought of what just happend made my face go red from embarrassment. I hurried out the building (knowing Samezuka students would be arriving soon) and joined the others, trying to hide my embarrassed face.

Sousuke pov:

I walked into Iwatobi High School and made my way to hall. I stood outside and waited alone, guess I was the first one to arrive from Samezuka.

After a few minutes alone I saw some more Samezuka students arriving including Momo. Why was I not surprised. Honestly he had been going on about it all last week as well as complaining why there was no stag beatle role. Why would there be stag beatles in a play about two princes? Honestly sometimes I worry about him. 

"Sousuke senpai! Your here too! I wouldn't think someone like you would audition but then again maybe you do like acting but hide it from us because your scared of what we would think of you. Don't worry senpai we still think your very cool!" Momo yelled much to my annoyance.

"Huh! Oi! I'm only auditioning because Rin forced me to!" I responded, I didn't want him getting the wrong idea.

"Sousuke Yamazaki." A teacher called.

I scanned over the lines one more time before I went inside.

"BEST OF LUCK, SOUSUKE SENPAI!" Momo called.

Geez he could've calmed down a bit yet I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Begin whenever you are comfortable Yamazaki." Mr Takamoto said.

"Hmmm. Your rather beautiful aren't you. You will obey my orders you understand. Good. Your mine remember and ONLY MINE. It's just you and me and NOBODY ELSE. Do I make myself clear." I said, speaking like I would if I was in that situation.

"Thank you, you may leave now." A teacher, more specifically my homeroom teacher Mr Nozaki.

I exited the hall only to be bombarded with questions by Momo.

"How did it go!?"

"What did they say!?"

"Which character did u audition for!?"

"Do you know I'm auditioning to be the king of light's gardener!?"

"Momo! I auditioned to be the Prince of darkness and they said thank you and it went perfectly fine. Now I'm going to buy myself a drink, I'll see you later." I said answering all his questions and rushing off.

After wandering around a few minutes, I found a vending machine and put 10 yen inside it. I picked up the cola can and popped it open, now all I had to do was leave but I had no idea where I was (especially since I was in school that I don't attend). Shit why do I have to have such a bad sense of direction?
Well I guess I can't do anything but try find the exit. So if I came that way surely I'll just back that way, right?

Soon enough I found my self near the gates of Iwatobi again.

"Sousuke senpai!" Momo shouted from behind.

"Are you heading back to Samezuka? If so let's walk together my audition was great you know I'll tell you all about it." Momo said.

"Yeh I'm going back to Samezuka and you can come if you want." I responded. Though I didn't want to admit it, I was glad he was joining me because although I knew the way (and am normally fine on the pavement and road) I couldn't be too sure I wouldn't get lost.

"Thank you Sousuke senpai." Momo shad with glee.

"Your welcome," and with that we headed back to Samezuka.

Hey folks here's another chapter though I didn't really bother to prove read it. In the future I do hope to improve this but as of now I'll leave it as it is.
