The moment my eyes opened the next morning I slid from my bed and headed straight to the bathroom to begin my morning ritual process of getting ready. When it came to hygeine I was very specific. I am the type of female who would rather be late then miss a step.
First things first, shower time. I turned on the water and immeadiately felt the steam begin to rise from the hot water. I adjusted the taps and then stepped in under the warm cascading stream of water. I stooped down to gather my loofah and pomagranet melon body wash before I began to bath myself. The scent of my wash caused my scenes to awaken happily. After I had finished scrubbing every inch of my body I washed my hair and then my face with a peppermint scrub. Once I was confident I was clean I turned off the water and stepped out to let myself air dry.
Heading over to my sink I grabbed the curlers from under it and began to put them in my hair. I normally did this while my hair was wet so when it dried it would be curly. Like my sister, my hair was straight with light waves. When I was younger though it was naturally curly and then they just fell out. After I had put all the curlers in my hair I sprayed it with my favorite hair spray, aussie, and then went into my room to get my outfit I had set out the previous night.
Today I would be grabbing the spotlight with a dress I had sewn together from an old skirt that I had outgrown and two shirts I had accidently ruined in a washing mishap. I wouldn't be wearing leggings with my heels so I did my best to use makeup to cover up my scars on my leg. Before hand I used some liquid bandage stuff that I found in the medicine cabinet to seal it.
Once I was finished getting dressed I went back into the bathroom to begin my makeup. A hint of eyeliner mascara and rep lip stain did the trick. This was basically the only makeup I wore because I was one of the lucky females to have blemish free skin. In my adolescent life so far I had never had a zit.
One by one I began to take out my curlers until my hair hung in long curles that cascaded a few inches past my shoulder. With one shake of my hair I was ready to go. I turned out the lights in my bathroom and grabbed my keys, backpack, ipod and cellphone and then headed outside to the garage to warm up my car.
As I slid into my car and started it I looked over and noticed Bella's truck was still here meaning she hadn't left yet. What was stranger was that she was sitting in her truck with her head on the steering wheel. I honked my horn once and she looked up at me.
"Falling asleep behind the wheel is not safe." I joked.
Bella opened up the truck door and got out, her back pack slung over her shoulder.
"Only in a moving vehicle and mine doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, the battery just died completely." She explained as she walked over to the passenger side of my car. "You don't mind me carpooling with you until I can save up some money to get a new batter do you?" she asked.
I gave her a blank stare before I shook my head.
"Sorry I don't give rides to strangers." I chuckled before patting the seat beside me.
Bella smiled feebly before she opened the car door and got in. Once she had her seatbelt on I began to back out before we were on our way.
"Are you nervous?" I asked her.
Bella looked at me and shrugged her shoulders.
"I guess... are you?" She asked back.
I shook my head.
"Na, never."
10 minutes later we pulled into the parking lot of Forks High school. Immeadiately heads turned in our direction and I could see from my preiphial vision as people were pointing in our direction and talking. This should be interesting. I immeadiately pulled into the first parking spot I came to, beside a silver volvo and shut off my engine.
