Benedicts POV

I couldn't believe that she said yes! That beautiful stubborn woman actually gave in and said yes to a date with me. I couldn't fathom everything that she was going through, but I knew if I could do anything for her to put a smile on her face, I would.

Since the first day I laid eyes on her while she was lost in the forest, I felt a strong pull towards her. I did the best I could to protect her that night she stayed in the forest along. At least two predators I had to kill to protect her while she slept under that ledge that first  night.

I wanted to just go to her and escort her out of the forest, but family rules were that I couldn't draw attention to the coven and randomly stumbling upon her while she was lost deep in the forest would have people questioning why I was there to begin with and how I found her and managed to get both of us out.

So I just stayed in the distance and watched like a guardian angel.

I dressed in a pair of dark wash denim levi's and a grey button down, ran a wet comb through my unruly hair and grabbed my wallet, phone and keys from the small table by my bedroom door. When I reached the bottom of the stair case Alice was there straightening a crease on my shirt in the most cheerful mood I had ever seen her in.

"Stop it." I murmured as she tried running a brush through my hair. "I look fine. I always look fine."

"I know you do, but you know me, Benny, so suck it up." She said before skipping off in the direction of Sophia's room, humming a cheerful tune.

In a matter of minutes Sophia was rolling her wheelchair in my direction. She looked timeless in her beauty with her wavy dark brown hair pulled into a Greek side braid, big brown eyes, and large red lips. I smirked to myself as I eyed her outfit as only she could pull off pairing a black leather jacket to a lace babydoll dress and black biker boots.

"You look perfect." I breathed as she stopped at my side.

"Thank you." She said as I felt the warmth of her blood pool in her cheeks just seconds before she blushed.

We stared wordlessly at each other for another few beats before I suggested we head out so we didn't miss our reservations. It really wouldn't have mattered since my family had pull just about anywhere we went, but being late showed lack of class which I didn't like.

"So, where are we going?" she asked as we merged onto the highway.

"Canlis. Have you ever been?" I asked.

She simply shook her head. "I haven't gotten out and about much since I've lived here."

"Not even when you've visited your dad over the years?"

"Nope." She replied. "I've always wanted to go to Seattle though."

"Perfect, because that is where Canlis is located." I grinned.

The normal 3 1/2 hours it would normally take to get to Seattle was shaved down to a meager hour and a half due to my spectacular fast driving. When we pulled up I watched her face as she gazed at beautiful architecture that made up Canlis.

"There are so many windows! And the view, it's perfect Ben!" She gleamed.

"Perfect." I repeated as I looked at her as she smiled brightly.

After I got her out of the truck we started up towards the entrance. The hostess was expecting us and led us straight to our private table in the back. This table had the best view of the entire restaurant at sunset.

We were quickly greeted by our waitress whose name was Sharon. After she took our drink order she handed us menus and retreated.

"So, anything on the menu catch your eye?" I asked as I set the menu down. Whatever she decided to order would be enough between the two of us - of course I normally didn't eat human food, but I would to help set the scene of a date.
