Chapter 19

   Eva's Pov...
I can't believe we are actually graduating from high school.. Like i can't wait to leave this town...

   "Serena Daniels", the principal called as he stood on the podium, announcing the names of the graduating students,and giving them their degrees in a cylindrical container, which contains each persons testimonial amd results.

  "Eva Smith",

I walk up to him,carefully so as not to fall in the four inch heels i was wearing.

  I collect my degree, shaking hands with the principal, i acknowledge the cheers from my classmates, but most especially my boyfriend, who was hooting loudly like a crazed dog... But i love him either way. Smiling,i walk back to my sit, receiving a hug from my mum and as i sat down,i got a kiss from Keith.

   "Keith Johnson"

Giving me a quick kiss on the cheek, he jogged towards the front, his hair bouncing slightly.

He stood tall and strong on the podium,as he took his degree and was about to give his speech. Surprisingly he was made Valedictorian.

   "Um.. I don't really have much to say since I'm winging it and all, so i'm not gonna take much time, since i know we all can't wait to get out of this hell hole", he said, earning more 'yeahs' and laughter's from the students and even the teachers.

   "Well its been an eventful year, we all had our laughs, fun, breakdowns, ups and downs,but we pulled through, i was able to pull through easily because i have something that most people long for, which is love", he said, his eyes finding mine as we stared at each other.

   "Most of us plan to leave this town for school and other purposes, while some may want to stay around. But don't forget, if you find something that makes you happy, do not let it go.... And finally happy freedom life to you all", he said throwing his cap in the air. And just like that, everyone followed suit, the hall erupted in cheers and hoots as Keith walked back to his sit grinning.

  I couldn't stop myself, i met him halfway, quickly closing the distance between us, i sealed his lips with mine. This kiss was different, it held promise and love in it.

     "I love you so much Eva", he said,his forehead resting against mine.

    "Forever?", i asked even though i already know my answer.

  "Now and Forever", he said before claimingy lips with his one more time...
