As they walked through the town they noticed many shop keepers packing up for the day. The time had passed quickly and it was getting to around sunset. They walked up to a small house at the end of street and Evelyn opened up the door.

It opened up to a kitchen, filled with dirty dishes. It smelled like something was cooking so Evelyn peeked at the stove and saw some chicken boiling. She licked her lips read for dinner, but then saw a woman step out from the back.

She wore a typical long skirt, with plane tan long sleeved shirt. She had long brown hair in a braid that laid on her back, caring a basket  filled with all types of meat.

She looked up to see them then said, "Welcome home sea folks."

"Hello Silver," Calder walked up, gabbed the basket and handed it to Evelyn who carried it over to the counter.

Calder kissed her then asked, "How everything here?"

Silver folded her hands and smirked saying, "Well, for starters, your son is top of his class in sword training." She giggled.

"Really?" He asked with excitement and surprise.

Evelyn raised her forehead and smiled, while walking over

"Well then where might he be?" She asked whiling giving Silver a hug.

She hugged her back and answered "Probably in the back swinging his sword around, might you go get him?" Silver guessed while asking.

Evelyn nodded and headed to wards the back door.

Evelyn went our and saw her little brother, even though he was only a year younger, hitting a stuffed dummy with a sword. The dummy was actually taller then him and looked more like a scare crow with a sword tied to its hand.

She smiled and yelled, hey Ash Pile, can you put down the sword? She cupped her hands around her mouth.

His head went up and he looked at her,

I told you to just call me Ash, and I'm a little busy right now. He hit the sword in the dummy's hand, then twirled around to hit it in the legs.

"Ok then," she thought feeling unwanted, yet wasn't going to let him get away with it.

Thinking, she got an idea, she went back inside and to her room. Then came back out with her staff. It was a glorified stick, as Ash would call it, but it was really a long walking stick with cloth and rope tied to the ends. She leaned up against the door, but it moved making her fumble back a little. She glared at the door. Then put one hand on her hip and stood tall. Ash was one the only thing she felt she had some kind of dominance over.

"Well, your not going to get far with a dummy." leaning on the stick she assured him.

He turned his head around to then roll his eyes,

"That's not even a sword."

He grunted dismissing her. Evelyn raised a brow,

Your point?

Rolling his eyes again head turned his body around and used his sword to point,

its not the best weapon for fighting off attackers.
