"Is Evelyn not joining us again?" Silver asked looking for her while setting down the eggs for breakfast.

Ash sat down and pulled his seat forward.

"I been hearing her get up with her staff and sneak out really early in the morning, or try to anyway." he explained with disinterest.

He then began to scoop eggs from the bowl and on to his plate. Calder walked in the room and over heard,

"I was up pretty early today to talk to the chief and i didn't see her anywhere, when did she sneak out?" He asked putting his coat on a hook.

Early, it wasn't pitch black, but the sun defiantly hadn't risen yet. She better not do that again, i couldn't go back to sleep after that.

Calder and Silver looked at each other with concern over Ash, he'd never spoken so sourly towards Evelyn before.

"What in the name of Thor could she be rising that early for?" He questioned sitting down at the table.

Well, i wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with that dragon that the village can't stay quiet about.

Silver grabbed the rest of the food and set in down for them.

"I know they act like they've never seen a dragon before." Ash complained "And my class can't get anything done now." Explaining with distaste he scoped the food in his mouth and chewed annoyed.

"Well they were all told the many legends about them," Calder said trying to lighten the mood. He grabbed and held out his plate while scooping the eggs on it. Ash looked up confused, so he finished chewing,

"Legends?" He asked disinterested, but knew he was getting the story anyway.

"Yes, well there actually is legends for any dragons that are elusive, and since we don't know much about them, what we see can be misinformed. I'd say my favorite would be the one of the dragon that never came back down from the sky."

Calder took a pause before continued "Some of the first fishers that went to the Ice Planes claimed to see a white dragon emerge from the snow and fly into a open sky. It had bright blue eyes and seemed to be alone so it ran. It had flew higher then any other dragon they've seen and continued until it was out of sight. They were for hours, but they never saw it again."

Ash had never heard it before and liked it, but was still annoyed.

"Wonder if that's true." he wondered out loud.

Calder nodded agreeing with him, but then asked getting back on track "Still not sure why she needs to go out that early, and to Guardian more importantly."

I'm more interested in why she needs her staff. Ash held his hand over his mouth while speaking.

Silver pulled out a chair and sat down.

"Well maybe she wants to get better with it, but If she wanted to train she could of just joined your class." She guessed.

"Oh great," Ash said realizing,

"She said she wanted to help Guardian because once she gets better she'll probably get caught by the Extinct and be killed."
