The morning sky was filled with reds and bright yellows. The white clouds glowed with color and the storm clouds invaded the color with grays. It was a very cool morning, filled with a strong wind that signaled the upcoming storm.
Her strength coming back Guardian began to fight the chains. She had gotten to her feet and was pulling them against the ground hooks they were attached to. Even trying slashing them with her claws. One chain wrapped around her stomach and the others laid across her back.
"Hey girl," Evelyn greeted.
Guardian didn't see her so she shifted her focused to her to see her kneeling down with a few Arctic Char in her arms. She held one out towards her, hoping to temp her. Guardian warned her by showing her teeth through the muzzle and slamming her tail against the ground. Evelyn pulled her hand back in fear, but then shook her head.
"No, no fear." She thought.
"C-come on aren't you hungry?" She stuttered while she held it out again then tossed it to her feet.
Guardian closed her mouth, but didn't even glance at the fish. Instead she brought her tail around and smacked the fish back to Evelyn's feet. She dropped the fish and covered her face worried it might hit it. Her eyes opened slightly to see it next to the pile.
"Evelyn!" Calder shouted running up with Willow to his daughter.
He put her hand on her shoulder and asked, "What happened? Did she hurt you?"
He glared at the dragon.
No no, i only tried to feed her her she waved her hands back and forth.
"Here let me do it."
A passing glance Evelyn's eyes meet Guardian's to see they shifted to anger to disappointment.Evelyn in confusion looked for a reason for her to stare like that. Maybe she found one as she looked to Calder then to his hand on her shoulder.
Guardian took her gaze off of Evelyn and turned it to the new vikings. Her throat rumbled letting out a strange growl that sounded like a eerie song. Like a siren warning them.
They all stood in aw, but were quickly refocused. Calder grabbed a fish and slipped through the chains. She continued making the noise with the added of slamming her tail again. Since she was still chained down Calder felt safe to walk closer.
Yet Guardian proved him wrong as she whipped her tail around almost hitting him, but he was just out of her reach. He stumbled backwards, almost falling over his feet. He regained balance as Willow slipped through the chains behind him to say,
"With that strength she'll break through the chains." Calder took a breath before asking,
"Was that a cue to reinforce them?"
"Maybe far from it, she seems to want to eat on her own accords and it might be the only way for to eat at all." She explained her observation.
She looked around the room for a way to make that possible. Calder got an idea before her saying
"Well if we made the muzzle so it would make it impossible for her to get off, then we could let her roam in this little area. Put some fish and water in the corner and she'll figure it out."
