Chapter 23 (My Brother, My Boyfriend and the Exorcists)

"Stay here" Percy commanded.

I was terrified.

My brother was rarely so scared that he couldn't hide it.

"Percy, What's wrong?" I asked him.

Percy looked back at me and gave me a sad smile.

"Everything is going to be okay Elise, just stay here and I'll e back soon, okay?" he said a little calmer.

I nodded.

Percy gave me one last glance and then hurried out of the infirmary.

I sat up and waited for Percy to come back.

I heard voices outside and I recognized Leo's.

"Why can't I see her?" He demanded.

"She's not in proper condition for you to see her" I heard an Apollo camper say.

"She's my girlfriend I have the right to see her" Leo insisted.

"Leo stop, Percy is worried that she might have an unwanted visiter" I heard another voice say.

'Piper' I thought.

I heard Leo hesitate for a moment but then continued his objection.

"What do you mean unwanted vister? Is that kind of code that I should know" Leo asked.

"Leo we'll talk about this later at a more private location" I heard another voice say

'Jason' I thought.

"No I want to know what the hell is going on right now!" Leo demanded furious.

I couldn't stand listening to them arguing anymore.

"Leo? Is that you" I asked through the door.

"Yes its me, these stupid people won't let me see you" he said through the door.

"Let him come in, please" I said to whomever was keeping Leo out.

"Sorry Elise, no visiters. Those were your brothers exact words" I heard an Apollo camper say.

'It must be really bad if Percy didnt want me to have any visiters. Or he's being over protective again' I thought.

I decided to not take the chance.

"Alright then, I'll text you Leo" I sighed.

I could tell Leo wanted to object but he didn't.

"Okay then, I'll text you" Leo said sounded disapointed.

I checked my phone waiting for Leo to text me.

I suddenly felt a cold rush of air around me.

I felt like someone was watching me.

"Who's there" I stammered.

'Silly girl you're alone' I heard a voice hiss in my head.

"Who are you and why are you here" I demanded.

'Why, we're only here to help bring an end to Perseus Jackson' the voices hissed.

"Who are you" I demanded, my voice shaking.

'I am the most powerful possessive force that has ever lived! I was sent here to kill Perseus Jackson and with the use of your body I will easily end his life within a matter of hours' the voice hissed.

It's voice sent shivers down my spine and I wanted to whimper, I had to force myself to stay strong.

"Percy is smarter an stronger than me, he could easily overcome me in battle" I said to the spirit.
