Valentines day

"Cass baby wake up." Cassandra heard in her ear, Jase had woken up a while ago but his voice was still deep and husky with sleep. She could feel him leaning into her back, his warm firm chest pressing up against her spine. She flickered her brown eyes open as he kissed her cheek. Turning to face him she tangled her hands in his chin length blonde hair and brought his lips closer for a kiss.

"Its too early," she murmured into his lips, "its like 8 in the morning."

He laughed, his laughter rumbling through his chest. "Actually its like 12, and its Valentines day."

Cassie shot upright horrified she had forgotten. "Shit, your present was supposed to be picked up at 9 this morning!"

Jase quietened Cassie's words by pressing his mouth onto hers. "Shhh babe, it doesn't matter. Being here with you is the best present I could have."

Cassie fake gagged, and pulled away from Jase pulling a face, "Ewww cheese alert!" she laughed.

"Anyways," said Jase nuzzling into her neck, "I brought you breakfast in bed." He nodded over to the bedside table laden with toast and croissants.

Cassie pulled another face and Jase looked worried. "Whats the matter?"

"There's no nutella..." Cassie said dissapointedly pouting.

Jase laughed again and pulled out 2 wrapped presents. "Open the big one first.' He said handing them over.

Cassie tore into the larger one to find a huge jar of nutella nestled in the paper. She giggled and hugged the jar with a hug grin on her face.

"You are such a child," Jase stated, a look of adoration on his face. He passed her the little one. "Present number 2."

Cassie studied this one more before she opened it. It was about the size of a matchbox, with blue wrapping paper and a silver bow. She peeled the wrapping paper off slowly revealing a small black box. She lifted the lid to see a small silver heart shaped charm and chain.

"Jase its beautiful, I can't, not after my present for you failed so dramatically."

He looked at her frowning, "You have to, its yours, turn it over."

Cassie turned over the charm and looked on the other side. Engraved on it was 'Cassie & Jase for eternity' Cassie gasped, and Jase could see tears forming in her eyes.

"Whats wrong babe?" He asked her worried he'd done something wrong.

She sniffed, "Its amazing Jase, but I didnt do anything like this for you, at all."

Jase pulled her in for a hug. "I know how you can make it up to me if you want." He smirked, running a hand up her thigh.

Cassie grinned, and shifted her weight so she was sat on top of him, straddling his waist. "Well then," She said, bringing her hand down to the waist band of his boxers, "We'll have to see about that."
