Sick Day

Jade's POV

          I kiss Emily's cheek and smile. "Can we sit down Emmy?" I ask. "Of course" Emily sits down on her bed, patting her lap. I smile and sit on her lap. She wraps her arms around me and holds me. "We have school tomorrow sweetie" She says and kisses my head. I frown and cuddle into her. "I don't wanna go" I whine. "I'm sorry babe" She rubs my back. I sigh and close my eyes. "How does your leg feel?" Emily whispers. "It still hurts" I whisper back. Emily lays her hand on my inner thigh and softly rubs it. I smile and blush, relaxing.

Emily's POV

          I pull my hand away and kiss Jade's cheek. "We should get some sleep" I say. "Okay" Jade nods. We lay down and I tuck her in. She cuddles into me and we fall asleep.

***Monday 5:30am***

Emily's POV

          I yawn and softly rub Jade's side. "Jade, it's time to wake up" I whisper. She wakes up and rubs her eyes. "I don't feel good Emmy" She whispers and puts her hand on her stomach. I feel her forehead and she's burning up. "I'll be right back sweetie" I kiss her forehead and get up. I go into the bathroom and get a wet wash cloth. I come back and put it on her forehead. "Want me to stay home with you?" I ask and rub her side.

Jade's POV

          "Y-yeah" I nod and and smile a little. "Okay" Emily smiles and lays back down next to me. I roll onto my side and lay my head on her shoulder. She wraps her arms around me and holds me. I curl up in a ball. "I'm hot" I pout. "Want me to take your hoodie off sweetie?" Emily asks. I blush a little and nod. "Okay" She sits me up and takes my hoodie off. I blush more and lay back down. Emily lays down next me and kisses my cheek, putting the wash cloth back on my forehead.

Emily's POV

          "What hurts baby?" I ask and brush Jade's hair out of her face. "My head and stomach" She whispers. I kiss her head and gently rub her stomach. She giggles a little and smiles. I smile and kiss her nose. "Wanna try eating something?" I ask. "Yeah" She nods. "Okay, I'll be right back" I go to the kitchen and find Jade something to eat.

Jade's POV

          I sit up and find my tank top, putting it back on. I sit against the headboard and bring my knees up to my chest. I wrap my arms around my legs and rest my head on my knees. I feel Emily sit down next to me and I look up at her. "I couldn't find much that wouldn't hurt your stomach so I made you some toast" She says and hands me a plate. "Thanks" I take it and kiss her cheek. "You're welcome" She smiles.
