Sterek - Last Breath [COMPLETED]

It was currently 7:00pm and Derek was sitting on a bench in Beacon Hills Park waiting.....

"Hey" a voice popped up behind Derek, he turned around to see who it was

"Hi" Derek replied when he saw who it was

"How long have you been sitting here for?" He asked Derek

"Not long, 10 minutes" Derek told him

"Well sorry to keep you waiting" he walked over to the front of the bench

"Don't worry about it" Derek said standing up "So where we heading?"

"Where'd you wanna go?" He asked as they fell into sync as they walked

"I don't know I know this great bar down the street" Derek suggested

"How old are you?"

"16, you?" Derek asked

"Good me too"

"Then let's go" Derek said

A ten minute walk later and they were at the bar showing the man their (fake) id's letting him know they were 18,
(A/N: just to let you know from where I am he legal drinking age is 18 so I'm going with that). They were now sitting at the bar with a few shots beside them.

"So you gonna tell me your name?" The boy asked Derek looking straight at him

"Depends you gonna tell me yours?" Derek asked right back looking straight back at the boy

"I asked you first" he said not taking his eyes off of Derek

"Derek" he told him holding his hand out

"Nice to meet you Derek, I'm Adam" he said shaking Derek's hand

"Well Adam it's nice to meet you too" he said their hands still connected as they were both smiling and hadn't looked at anything else other than each other yet

"So tell me about yourself" Adam said taking his hand away

"What do you wanna know?" Derek asked

"I don't know, tell me how can someone be so hot?" Adam smirked

"I don't know, you tell me?" Derek asked back

"Well he is an orphan so he doesn't know" Adam spoke about himself like it didn't affect him "Now what about you?" He moved the subject on before Derek could say anything

"I have a beautiful mother" Derek simply said "So you have any siblings?"

"Only child, biologically that is" Adam answered "How about you?"

"Three brothers, and one sister" Derek said

"Wow, big family"

"Yeah"

The rest of the night went by in a flash, they asked questions, got to know each other a bit, and hence the fact they were in a bar they didn't get that drunk.

"I am very surprised we aren't wasted right now" Adam said as they exited the bar

"Speak for yourself, your such a lightweight" Derek laughed as Adam tripped over his own feet causing him to bump into some people on the street "I'm sorry" Derek apologised quickly before running to catch up with Adam

"Have I told you how adorable you are when you're drunk?" Adam asked

"I'm not drunk" Derek said as he held onto Adam's arm whilst they went down some concrete steps

"You're not?"

"Nope, that's all you" Derek laughed as they took the last step, Adam took hold of Derek's hand and started swinging theirs arms back and forth together

"You're hands are sweaty" Adam stated

"I know" Derek said

"Are you nervous?" Adam asked standing still looking at Derek

"No"

"You know I'd kiss you right now but I'm afraid if I do I won't remember it in the morning" Adam said, Derek laughed "Derek?"

"Yes Adam?"

"Do you still wanna see me even though I got slightly maybe a little drunk on our first date?"

"Of course I still wanna see you, besides if your looking for someone to blame, I'm the one who suggested we went to the bar" Derek said

"You did didn't you" Adam said "Derek I don't think I can make it home on my own" he said shaking his head

"I know, I'm afraid if I let you go you'll probably end up climbing into some bins" Derek said as they began walking again, fingers still intertwined. "Come on I'll walk you home"

After about a 20 minute walk of Adam being his adorable drunken self they finally arrived at Adam's front door.

"This is me" Adam said gesturing to the house

"Well I had a great time tonight" Derek said

"Me too" Adam smiled "So text you tomorrow?"

"Yeah" Derek said

"'Kay bye"

"Bye" Adam opened his front door but before he went in he turned around and placed a kiss on Derek's cheek

"So...how was it?" Melissa asked once Derek got back

"It was fun, he's great" Derek replied as he walked into the kitchen to Melissa

"So tell me her name" Melissa said

"Adam" Derek said, he saw no point in trying to hide it anymore, Melissa turned away from the sink to look at Derek "Look if your disappointed with me liking boys then-" Melissa cut him off with a hug

"You could never disappoint me" she said pulling back smiling at him

"Thank you"

"So come on, tell me all about him" Melissa said as she dragged him over to sit down, the rest of the night consisted of Derek's night, and what kind of person Adam is, he left out the part with the bar, and told her they went to dinner then walked around a bit.
