26~I Got Out

"Can you tell me where Talia Hale's room is?" Jacob asked a woman that was at the reception

"Talia Hale......she's on floor 3, room 322" she said smiling up at him

"Thank you", he made his way over to the elevator and pushed the third floor button once he got in, he was standing there for about 10 seconds before the door opened, he stepped out looking at all the doors lining the wall. He stepped out and walked the halls, when he finally found room 322 he held onto the door handle, took a breath and pushed open the door. When he stepped in he saw his mother laying on the hospital bed with all sorts of monitors and tubes being prodded underneath her skin. "Mum?" he whispered out to her even though he knew he wouldn't get a response. Jacob hadn't seen his mother in over a year and now that he's seeing her the sight is horrific, the tube in her mouth, going down her throat, some pink scars lining all over her skin, and bruises that have seem to left a permanent mark. "I'm sorry this happened to you" he said caressing her face gently "You don't deserve this" he took a hold of her hand and smiled "It's Jacob by the way, I'm her mum, I'm alive. Iv'e seen you now all you have to do is wake up so you can see me"

"I can see you honey" his mum's voice sounded from behind him, he stood up quickly an turned around to see his mum was behind him, he looked down at the bed to see it was empty and all the monitors were gone

"How are you here?" Jacob asked

"I should be asking you the same" she smiled placing a hand to her son's cheek, Jacob sighed to the touch

"I got out" Jacob said

"But it's not time" Talia said taking her hand away and turning her back an thought to herself

"What's not time?" Jacob asked not understanding his mother

"You're not supposed to be here, you need to leave" she rushed out her words turning to look at her son

"What do you mean? Leave where?"

"You need to get out of this place" she said frantically

"Mum, leave where? And what's not the right time?" Jacob asked

"Beacon Hills Jacob, you need to get to the stairs, it's too early for you to be here, they're not safe, you need to get them out of here, you need to get to the stairs" she repeated

"What stairs? Get who?"

"My children" she said, a bright light and a huge crackle erupted from the outside of the room "No, no, no, it's too early, it's too early" she said as she locked the door and closed all the curtains, she stood still in one place and began moving her upper body forwards and backwards whilst repeating "It's too early, it's too early, it's too early-"

"Mum!!!" Jacob stopped her placing his hands on her shoulders "What's too early?"

"You're not supposed to be here yet, it's not time" she said again

"Mum your not making any sense, what is going on?" Jacob asked, loud banging came from the other side of the wall and it grew louder and louder

"They're here" she said eyes widening

"WHO?" Jacob shouted because his mum wasn't giving him a straight answer

"The lycans" she whispered

"The what?"

"Werewolf's Jacob" she yelled

"Mum there's no such thin-"

"Your asleep" she said like she just figured it out, Jacob looked at her like she was out of her mind "You need to wake up Jacob" she moved them to the furthest corner away from the door "Before they get in, you need to wake up"

"Wake up where, I'm in the hospital" Jacob said

"No your not, you just think that, but you need to wake up, and remember get them out" she yelled, and it was like her voice was fading

And then suddenly it was like he was struck with some sort of energy and it felt like everything was going at full speed, he was going at full speed, but he wasn't running, it was more like he was falling and then a big weight felt like was being put on his chest.

"Hey kid you gonna pay me or what?" he heard a voice, it was faint but it was there "HEY" a man said, he opened his eyes to see he was in a taxi, the taxi he got in earlier

"Here" he said giving the driver his money, he got out the car and looked around to see he was in some kind of forest "I didn't ask you take me here" Jacob told the driver leaning down on the open window

"Uh, yeah you did" the driver said

"No I told you to take me to the hospital" Jacob said

"Hey man I think I know the difference between a hospital and a creepy, old forest" he rolled up the window and drove off leaving Jacob there

"Why would I ask to come here?" he said kicking a stone on the ground, he looked around and saw a house in the distance, he walked towards it to see the door was already open, he felt like something was pushing him to go in so he went forward, he walked inside and it was a mess there was glass everywhere, dried up blood, a broken table and sink, and it didn't smell too good either. He took a step to go up the stairs and heard a creak on one of the steps, he took his foot off then put it back on to see if he got the right one, then he remembered what his mum said 'you need to get to the stairs'. He looked around to see if there was anything to break the wood but when he didn't find anything he opted to use his foot and kick the wood, a left a giant hole in the step an when he looked through he could see that there was something in there. He reached his hand in there and took out a little box, he opened it and it revealed some papers. There were 5 envelopes with different names, Jacob, Derek, Thomas, Cora, Luca, he reached his hand in and felt around to find something bigger and heavier, he pulled it out and saw it was a book, he opened it and it seemed like some sort of journal, each page was about different thing, creatures? Monsters? Supernatural maybe? "What the hell is going on in this place?"
