The hospital said that Luca was doing a lot better, and that he's ready to be put into a family but when Derek heard that from Melissa that morning he wasn't having any of it.

"No I'm not gonna allow my baby brother to be put into foster care or shit, he's coming home, with me" Derek said

"What are you gonna do huh? Your 16 Derek, you can't take care of a baby"

"People have babies at 16 all the time now, it's normal" Derek exclaimed

"So what your gonna adopt him? How's that gonna work Derek? you have to be 18" Noah said

"I'm 17 in a few days that must help with something" Derek said

"You still don't have the documents" Melissa yelled

"What's with all the yelling?" Stiles asked rubbing his eyes making his way into the kitchen

"Yeah, it's 7:30 in the morning, and it's a Saturday" Scott said shortly after Stiles

"Derek want's to adopt Luca" Melissa stated

"Who's Luca again?" Scott asked, everyone stayed silent as everyone stared at him "Wait, baby brother I got it" he said sitting down on the chair laying his head on the kitchen table

"Derek I wanna be with you on this but I don't think it's possible" Stiles said, Derek huffed and ran up the stairs

"Well, that went well" Melissa said as the  four of them sat around the table, a few minutes later Derek came down stairs and threw an envelope on the table

"What's this?" Melissa asked picking it up

"A document" Derek stated

"What does it say?" Scott asked as Melissa looked inside, she scanned over the paper inside then looked up at Derek

"Oh, honey" she said getting out of her chair and walking over to Derek and engulfed him in a hug

"She knew something might happen so she came prepared" Derek said as he hid his head in the crook of Melissa's neck

"Everything's gonna be fine" she said drying the tear that had escaped Derek's eye

"Can someone explain what was in the envelope?" Scott asked, Melissa still had it in her hand

"It's an adoption document of some sorts" Derek said

"For who?" Stiles asked

"For me" Derek announced

"Derek your 16" Stiles said

"Almost 17" Derek corrected him

"Right but how is that possible?" Noah asked confused

"Well one night my dad was like proper drunk and my mum might have sort of tricked him into signing the papers" Derek said

"Why's there another three in here?" Scott asked taking out the other three papers

"For Thomas, Cora and I, she got them when Jacob was still here, then when he died she found out she was pregnant with Luca a few months later, the papers are for me now" Derek said frowning

"Wait who's Jacob?" Scott asked

"Our brother" Derek said

"You have another brother?" Scott asked, Derek nodded

"I'm so sorry honey" Melissa said pulling him in for a side hug

"It's okay" Derek said

"Why is everyone up so early?" Thomas asked groggily shuffling into the kitchen, Derek turned around to look at him and smiled brightly "Why are you smiling? What have you done? Have I got something on my face?" he asked rubbing his face with his palms

"Luca's coming home" Derek said

"What?! What do you mean he's coming home?" Thomas smiled

"I mean he's coming home, for real" Derek said, and within a second he had arms around his waist and he was blown slightly backwards cause of the force of Thomas running at him, Derek chuckled as Thomas dug his head into his chest

"He's coming home" Thomas said laughing

"He's coming home" Derek laughed hugging Thomas tighter holding the back of Thomas' head to hold him closer

"We gotta tell Cora" Thomas pulled back running off "CORA" Thomas yelled running up the stairs, Derek was laughing as he made his way up the stairs with slower speed than Thomas, once he got to the top of the stairs he heard a scream and before he knew it Cora was jumping towards him, Derek caught her and held her to his chest

"I knew he'd come home" Cora whispered into Derek's ear

"Me too" he said as he held onto Cora and pulling Thomas into the hug with his other arm

"Does this mean she's gonna have to move into my room?" Thomas asked gesturing at Cora, they all laughed as they cried
