His chime sounded and Jiro woke up on an unfamiliar couch. He unplugged himself and looked around for the maids or Eden."Emma? Abigail? Sophia? Eden?" Jiro called into the empty hallway, "H-hello anyone there?"
"You awake early Jiro," Vincent walked up to Jiro from his study, "I hope you slept well."
"Who are you?" Jiro asked.
"My name is Vincent, I was speaking with Jenna in my study," He ruffled Jiro's hair, "It seems I'll be taking you off her hands from now on."
"I don't want to go," Jiro stepped back and held his charger tighter, "I want to stay with Emma, Sophia, and Abigail."
"I'm afraid they have to stay with Jenna. You can help the maids here if you want to," Vincent took the duster from a maid and offered it to Jiro.
"I can only hold one thing at a time," Jiro said adjusting his uncoiling charger in his left hand.
"Here hand that to me and we can set up your new room," Vincent took the charger and handed it to the maid along with the duster, "I'll be just this way."
"But-" Vincent took Jiro's hand and took him to a room on the top floor.
A balcony and white sheets. Almost transparent, white, curtains around the bed itself. Large windows and a high ceiling with a chandelier.
"It's bright," Jiro muttered.
"So long as you keep the room mostly clean there'll be no problems," Vincent left Jiro with his charger in his new room.
Jiro put his Charger down on the bed. He found a large chest at the foot of his bed. Inside were toys and dolls of all kinds. Jiro sat at the edge of the balcony and watched the gardeners and maids moving around below. He brought a lion doll with him. He liked the brown button eyes and how fluid the limbs were.
"You know I have a big brother," Jiro talked to the lion, "He has brown hair and eyes like dad did. Mom says I got my green eyes from her. I miss my mom and dad, and I miss my big brother. I wish I could remember their names. But I know one day big brother will come back and get me, or until I disobeyed him and left the park. I hope he can still find me even though I'm far away from where I should be."
