Jiro had started moving around more after a few days, he even started carrying around Little Lion again. He was quiet and had started using short responses to answer questions.

"Little Lord how are you doing this morning," Alan asked Jiro as he walked out of his room.

"Fine," Jiro said.

"I see," Alan replied, "Anything you would like to do today Little Lord?"

Jiro walked away with no answer. He had a bandage around his calf until it's fixed. Jiro drank a third of his glass of oil and left the rest. His mind was blank and he spent most of his time alone in the gazebo of the gardens.

"How's Jiro doing?" Vincent asked when he came home, "Any better?"

"I'm afraid not," Alan answered, "He hasn't been oiled properly and still hardly speaks."

"Is Olivia any better?" Vincent asked, "I need her back here soon. She was the only one to make progress so far."

"Still homesick My lord," Alan replied, "But she did call. She seems to think Jiro's lonely."

"Lonely," Vincent hung his coat, "Well that's why I wanted you and Olivia to befriend him."

"You don't need to be alone to feel lonely My Lord," Ala explained, "You could be surrounded by people and still feel completely alone. Olivia suggested school might be a good way to lift his spirits."

"Schooling, of course," Vincent replied, "He'd be around others his own age. Start looking for some around the area."

"Right away my Lord," Alan left to a computer to start his school research.

Jiro was laying on the bench of the gazebo, his head upside down from hanging off the edge. He held a white rose along with Little Lion.

"Lion," Jiro started, "Do you think I'll ever leave here?"
