Niall: Age 13: Your former dad made you act there slave. If you didn’t do what he said, he would punish you. Life changed when the Horan family adopted you but you still had a fear of men. Today, Maura, Bobby, you and Niall were having dinner. You felt comfortable around Maura and Bobby but because you this was only the second time you’ve seen Niall, you didn’t know any better than to be a bit cautious around him. You saw Niall get up to fill his glass so before he could get up, you grabbed his glass up and gave it to him. “I could do it myself, (y/n)! Why did you do it?” he asked. “Please don’t hurt me!” you teared up. He got up quickly and came over to you. “(y/n), what happened back at your old house?” he asked. “He would always make me do everything for him and if I didn’t he would hit me.” you said. He sighed and shook his head. “You’ll never have to do anything for me, and I will never hit you I promise.” he said. He pulled you into a hug and you became more comfortable with Niall.
Zayn: Age 17: Although you were older and more mature than most girls your age, you had a rough past. When your mom died your dad started smoking and drinking. He would hit your when he was drunk. Today your “new” mom asked you to get the mail. You walked outside to see Zayn smoking. You froze and ran back inside. You ran into your room and curled in a ball when the memories came back to you. Your mom kept knocking at you door worried because Zayn told her what happened. Finally she helped herself in and she asked what happened. You explained and Zayn came into your doorway. “(y/n), I barley smoke but when I do, I would never hurt you, I wouldn’t hurt you ever!” you smiled and he pulled you in for a hug. Zayn didn’t end up smoking around you just for you and you two have a good relationship.
Louis: Age 3: Your parents died and you were extremely shy. When your parents told you Louis was going to see you for the first time, you were very scared. “Louis!” you heard Lottie scream. He’s here. You ran into you room and hid. You heard him talking to your sisters and mom. “Where’s (y/n)?” your mom asked. “She ran when she saw me” Louis said. You heard muffled talking and then a knock at your door. “Can I come in?” Louis asked. You didn’t say anything so he sighed and walked in. He sat down next to you and looked at you. “I’m Louis and you must be (y/n)!” he said. “Are you going to hurt me?” you asked. He looked at you confused but then put the pieces together. “Awe sweetheart, i’ll never hurt you. This is your new family and he will always love you.” he said.
Liam: Age 8: Your dad abused you. He was a buff guy and worked out a lot. When you went downstairs and saw Liam working out, you screamed. He stopped and looked at you. “Please don’t hurt me i’m sorry!” you cried. He ran to you and pulled you into a hug. “Your not going to hurt me?” you asked. After you calmed down, he sat you down on the couch and kissed your forehead. It was different from being hit so you were confused. “I will never hurt you, ever.” he said softly. You could see him getting teary eyed. “Why are you crying?” you asked. “Because I love you.” he said hugging you yet again. “I love you to.” you said and he smiled.
Harry: Age 14: You have known Harry for about three months now. You felt like you were apart of the family now. “Hey (y/n), have you seen my keys?” he asked. You thought for a minute and realized you saw your mom put them in his room. “Mom put them in your room.” you said. He smiled and went into his room. A few minutes later he came back. “Thanks (y/n), you didn’t have to lie now i’m gonna be late for the meeting!” he yelled. “I swear I saw mom put them in there!” you felt bad. “JUST SHUT UP!” he said. You flooded back the memories of your dad yelling at you. Your started tearing up. “Please don’t hurt me.” you said. He realized what he had done and quickly recovered. “No,no,no (y/n), I’m not mad at you i’m sorry” he said. You nodded. “I’m sorry to, it just brings back memories.” you said. He nodded and ended up skipping the meeting to be with you.
