The Day Before

Gasping for air I sprang up more alert than ever. I quickly checked my surroundings...I was on the couch in my apartment. How did I get back home? And where was everybody else at? I rubbed my head and stood up from the couch stretching out my sore back. Looking at the wall that me and J.R put a hole in, I noticed that it wasn't there. Was I dreaming? Or did I just get drunk last night? Lili wasn't on the couch either but this time her shoes were gone. I almost broke my ankle rushing upstairs to the guest bedroom. She wasn't there or in any of the other rooms so I FaceTimed her waiting for a response...

"Hello", she said with her forehead in the camera.

"Where you at?", I asked.

"Dad came and picked me up early"

"Forgot to tell you", she finished.

"Goddamn can you back up", I said rather than asked.

"Don't nobody wanna see yo acne"

Squinting her eyes she snapped back, "Okay and? Nobody tryna see yo ugly ass face"

"Ey, stop cussing", I said calmly.

"But fa real though let me see where you at"

Backing the phone up I noticed she had on the t-shirt that I bought her a few days ago. Nobody was in her room and she seemed to be chilling so I hung up. Did any of that stuff actually happen? Is it the day after or sumn? My phone vibrated in my hand and I checked to see who it was.

After I sent that she left me on read but if I would've did sumn like that to her she would've spas'ed on me just like Mya does. My brain kinda froze on Mya's name.

Me having that dream last night made me realize that she's been gone way too long. Ion know what's been going on with her lately. She probably wants me to beg and plead for her to come home. That's my baby and I miss her like hell but I ain't finna get on my knees every time she leave; got me fucked up. We for real need to talk. Even though she probably blocked me imma shoot her a text. It don't hurt to try...

Me: Mya?

I waited a good 10 minuets for her to respond but she didn't. Putting my phone down I sat on the guest bed to give my legs a rest. New Years is in 2 days and I guess imma be alone just like last year. I try not to think too much on it 'cause ion want all that negativity on me.

I'm guessing pops came to pick Lili up early because it's suppose to be a storm later on tonight. I definitely need to get lined up before New Years though but with the storm coming ion know if imma be able to. Let me see if he can come out here...

Me: You cutting today?
Quan💈: Yea, after 2
Me: Bet, 3:20?
Quan💈: Ight

Going downstairs to make some breakfast, I ain't realized that there wasn't any food left until I opened the refrigerator. I guess I'm ordering out; I was tryna decide between Chinese food and pizza. Once I starting thinking about dominoes, it was a wrap. They pizza fye as hell but ion know if they deliver or not. Dialing up their number, I waited a couple seconds before they answered. I placed my order for a large veggie pizza with a liter of Sprite. Once I found out that they delivered, I ordered another large cheese pizza and a Coke. With the storm coming tonight the roads probably gon be hella bad tomorrow and imma be stuck in the house. So I wanted to make sure that I had extra food to eat for tonight and tomorrow. As I was telling the cashier over the phone what vegetables I wanted, a loud buzz went off in my ear. I be hating when that shit happens but sometimes I be forgetting to turn my ringer off. When I finished placing my order I hung up and checked my notifications.
