As Adeline was putting on her clothes, the door flew open revealing Kevin. Startled, she tripped over her jeans and fell backwards, nearly hitting her head on the desk.
"Kevin!"
He immediately apologized and rushed to help her up. Once she finally got her jeans on, she turned to Kevin who sat on her bed excitedly.
"Did you come here to give me a heart attack?" She asked with her hands on her hips.
"Sorry, Mom." He replied.
"You better be sorry."
"Anyways," Kevin clapped his hands,"Tell me all about your date with Sweet Pea!" He patted the spot next to him and grinned.
"You helped him plan the date." Adeline stated. He only waved her off.
She sighed and felt butterflies erupt in her stomach,"It. Was. Amazing." She fell back onto her bed and hugged her pillow close. Her mind was swirling with memories of her date with Sweet Pea. The date was amazing and it made her fall for him even more. She loved seeing the soft side of him. He made her feel safe and loved.
Adeline looked at Kevin and started,"He got me flowers..."

"Addy!" The voice of Veronica Lodge shouted from down the hall.
Adeline stopped and waited for her to catch up. In the hall, you could practically feel the confidence radiating off Vernonica as she walked. Her heels clicking on the floor, back straight, and long strides.
"So, I just just wanted to make sure you were coming to my confirmation." Veronica said once she approached her. Adeline froze, she had forgotten about the confirmation and immediately started to feel bad.
The raven haired girl noticed her shrink back and sighed,"You forgot about it didn't you?" The smaller girl could only nod and waited for the wrath of Veronica Lodge. Instead of unleashing her wrath, she laughed which left Adeline confused. "Adeline, I'm not mad."
Adeline looked at her with uncertainty,"Are you sure?"
Veronica grabbed her shoulders and looked her in the eye,"I know that you're a forgetful person. And I also know that you're dealing with things right now."
"Like what?" Adeline asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, I don't know," Veronica sighed deeply,"Maybe a tall, black haired hunk who stares at you as if you're the world."
The blue eyed blushed and covered her face,"Stop."
"Is someone blushing? Our little angel is growing up so fast." Jughead joked as he walked up to them.
"Jughead.." Adeline groaned.
"So, about that date with Sweet Pea," Jughead started,"Did he treat you right? Was he a gentleman? Did he hurt you? Because if he did, I'm letting him watch Hot Dog for a week."
"Hey, Hot Dog isn't that bad!" She exclaimed.
Jughead scoffed at her,"That's because he listens to you more than me or any other Serpent."
"Vegas even loves her." Archie stated, joining them and kissing Veronica on the cheek.
"All animals love Adeline." Veronica said with a playful smile.
