Chapter 18

Hiccup's pov

As I was drifting into the darkness, I hear a learning scream. I sat up immediately and start scanning the room if there was someone or something there.

But there wasn't anything or anyone. I start getting worried.

I hear another scream. I look to the left side if the bed where Astrid was sleeping peacefully.

How is Astrid still sleeping after that scream? Unless I'm hearing it in my head. Am I? Is it just in my head?

I get out of the bed and start heading downstairs. I light a torch and go outside, it was pitch black.

"What's going on?" I whispered to myself.

I start heading to the clubhouse to see if there was anyone there, cause there was a bright light coming from inside the clubhouse.

"What's happening?" I said

I start feeling dizzy and nauseous. Then I see bright colors around me. Then I hear someone whispering
"I'm coming. I'm coming. I'm coming"
Over and over.

My vision starts getting better and I stopped feeling nauseous. Then all of a sudden my torch goes out and everything becomes pitch black. I then see a bright white light, in the forest.

I start heading towards it. I finally reach the light. I didn't even know how I got through the dense forest without hitting a tree. It was like someone was guiding me.

"Hello, anyone there?" I call out

No answer. I start heading closer and closer. Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around a see HER.

She was wearing a black long cloak, and black flowing silk dress, with a skull belt on her waist. Her eyes were white and she was carrying a dagger with blood dripping from it.

"Morgana" i said coldly

"I'm coming for her Hiccup" she said

Her eyes started turning blodd red. Then Astrid appeared next to her. Astrid had scars on her arm and blood on her hands. Her shirt was ripped and so was her leggings.

"Astrid!" I yelled

"This is what's coming Hiccup!" Morgana yelled at me.

"Please no!!" I begged

"Oh don't worry. After I'm done with her, it won't be long for you to join her" Morgana said smiling evilly.

Morgana then grabs Astrid by her hair and puts the knife near her throat. Astrid was whimpering and crying a little.

I then run to her and push Morgana out of the way. I lift Astrid up about to take her with but Morgana used her magic to teleport Astrid to her.

Suddenly black smoke starts to surround Astrid and Morgana. Within seconds they were gone.

Suddenly everything turns pitch black again. I then find myself  outside of mom's old sanctuary.

I see Hannah and  the others laying on the ground lifeless. Then I see my Dad and the gang floating in the air. Their eyes were white, like they had no soul.

I run over to Hannah's lifeless body and tears escape my eyes. Then I look over to the others who were paying on the ground and even more tears came.

"Like what you see Hiccup?"

I turn around and see a possessed Astrid. She had blood all over her face and hands.

"Why did you do this Morgana?" I asked coldly while wiping the tears away.

"Who's Morgana? It's me, Astrid" she said pretending to be innocent.

"Why do you hate us so much?" I start crying again.

"Don't act like you don't remember me Hiccup" Morgana said narrowing her eyes.

Morgana then changes back to her old self, and looks at me with coldly.

"Where is Astrid?!" I asked yelling.

Morgana then snaps her fingers and Astrid appears in front of me.

And with that Morgana disappeared, and so did Hannah and the others. I look up and notice that Morgana had taken my Dad and the gang with her.

Astrid had more cuts on her face than before. I kneel down and lift her chin up for me to see her eyes. She looked at me with scared and tearful eyes. I hugged her tightly.

When I broke the hug I looked at her eyes again. Before I knew it I was leaning closer and closer to her face.

Then suddenly I hear someone yelling my name. It keeps getting louder and louder.

"Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup! Hiccup wake up!"

"Hiccup!"

I open my eyes to see Hannah shaking me. It was all a dream?!?
