Chapter 29

Hannah's Pov

"So, who are you?"

"What do you mean Hannah? It's me Elsa." She said furrowing her eyebrows.

"You're not. Either you tell me where Morgana is hiding Hiccup and I let you go, or I'll make you tell me. It's your choice, you can leave unharmed or never leave, either way I'll get my answer. So I don't really care what you choose."

"My, my aren't you a smart cookie." It said with a deep and cracked voice.

"So, what's it gonna be?"

"I'm merely a puppet who serves our Great Deity, nothing more nothing less, so I really don't know anything. My only purpose is to slow you down." It began to laugh maniacally. 

I glared at her menacingly as a way of intimidation. Slowly the face began to crack, tiny pieces of her skin slowly peeled off and aimlessly float around. The hair and clothes feel on the floor as she or rather it suddenly disappeared. Only the hair, clothes and the skin flakes floating were left.

I stood in utter shock as I began to lower my arms. 

A cold breeze suddenly hit me and the same laugh from that thing echoed from behind me.

"I've successfully done my job..." It softly whispered into my ears.

"Shut the hell up! You haven't done shit! You're stupid tricks aren't going to work on me Morgana! You bitch." I yelled with clear anger and with the intent to mock her.

"Hiccup isn't stupid." I followed.

I continued to run around with hope that I would just somehow find Hiccup.

It didn't take long for me to end up in front of a door.

I inserted the skeleton key into the hole and turned it. Pulling it open as it made a creaking sound.

Darkness...

All you could see was one bright fire on another door lighting up a tiny area at the end of the hallway of cells.

A familiar feeling all of a sudden hit me with great force. It's like I've been here before, but not physically.

I closed the door and walked to the said light. Upon arriving the metal door was no longer rin sight. Even though I was so sure that it was there, but, there was nothing but a dirt wall holding up the fire stick.

"Oh look, it's dear Hannah Haddock. What brings you here once again oh Haddock?"

Shocked I turned my attention to the source of the voice. It was a girl staring at me, with one eye and her other eye covered with her long black hair, standing behind the cell on my right.

I didn't realize she was there!

Her gaze is so intense yet I didn't feel anything.

"Why does dear Hannah look so surprised? Do you not remember our time together 2 weeks ago? Although it was brief, I'm a little hurt." She said.

What?

When?

Two weeks ago?

As my confusion continued for a couple minutes, I suddenly developed a headache somewhere between as well a ringing sound coming from my left ear.

"Ouch. My head." I grinded my teeth and held my head as the headache and the ringing got worse.

"Oh, here we go. It's starting. You'll remember in... 3... 2..... 1..."

Flashback (chap. 26)

"Heyy!!! Keep it down newbie! I'm trying to sleep."

I opened my eyes to look at who it was. I saw a figure come out of the shadows in the cell in front of me.

It was a girl.

"Who are you?"

"Eerika."

"Last name?"

"Not telling. Look, you're friends are fine. She probably put them in different cells. But that's not gonna matter soon cause you're never leaving."

I raised my left eyebrow.

"Watch me." I retorted as I grabbed a stone and started hitting the bars.

"Why don't you use your magic?"

I stopped.

How did she know?

"H-how do you know ab-"

"I know everything. You're not the only one with magic."

"Ever try using it?"

"Of course, and once I got caught my sister paid the price. So your friends are fine as long as you DON'T try to escape. It doesn't matter how powerful you are, you'll NEVER defeat Morgana."

"Wha-"

"Your dragons won't help you either. Even that Night Fury. Trust me when I say this. You. Have. No. Chance."

End of Flashback..

What was that?!

What did I just remember?! I don't remember anything like that happening! From day one I've been in the same cell with  Astrid and Heather.

So, where was that memory from?

And who is this girl??

"Aww, is someone confused? How cute. Use your little powers to figure it out, or not." She began to laugh hysterically.

But for some reason, it didn't feel threatening or evil, I felt somewhat calm.

Maybe it's because the ringing and headache disappeared?

"The headache and the ringing had nothing to do with why you're feeling calm right now. It's me."

"How? What kind of magic do you possess? Are you a disciple or Morgana or perhaps a servant? Answer" I demanded.

"I just have that effect on humans, it's very normal from us." She explained.

"Who is us?"

"Beings that watch." She said with a smile.

What? Beings that watch? What does that mean?

"What do you mean?"

"No sense in explaining to you, maybe some other time. You're about to wake dear Haddock."

"Wait-"

I slowly opened my heavy eyes to the sound of someone shaking me and calling my name.

"Hannah are you okay? What happened?"

My eyes wandered to the person shaking me, it was Heather.

I looked around my surroundings, the same place that fake Elsa disappeared leaving her clothes behind.

"But.. How am I back here?"
