A year ago strange incidents started happening at the elite Aoyama academy.
Scandals, failures and even murder left the prestigious school shrouded in a dark atmosphere. The hierarchy was decided by the ranking system, but having a low number was just as dangerous as having a high one. It was supposed to be a way to reward the students for their merit, but instead it created power hungry, overly obsessed maniacs. The academy was a beautiful utopia from the outside, but the inside was a completely different story.
Moritsuka Shiina's death was a mystery that got swept under the rug, but then a girl that looked just like her appeared at the academy one day.
The peace was forever disrupted and a certain maths teacher found himself in way over his head when he agreed to keep an eye on the dead girl's lookalike.
She wasn't quite human, not even close, but everything changed when he decided to teach her what it was like to have a heart and his affection for her began to grow.
